fair enough, age is one thing but equal levels of give and take are far more crucial. good luck with things sometimes you need to put yourself first.

of course he was happier when he was seeing you (as i'm presuming he was getting sex out of it and that usually cheers everyone up to some degree for a day or two). you deserve someone who is prepared to make the effort and will come to you in your times of need

Yeah actually, after reading your original post... age doesn't matter, but it sounds like he was being weird about it and was using it as an excuse as he didn't really want a relationship. Maybe he just wanted a fling with a more experienced chick and then decided to ditch. So regardless of the fact of how age shouldn't make a difference, it seems right that you ended it in any case. He didn't want it, it was one-sided and better that you ended it now.
