I have a capsule of a little bit of orange powder that is supposed to be LSD that I bought from a guy who sells acid a lot. I have never tried acid before and I know it usually come in sheets or tabs or blotter, I've never heard of orange powder. I wanted to post a picture of it but I'm not sure of the rules about that. Anyone have any knowledge/advice? Thanks

i doubt it, active dose of LSD is ~100 mcg. You can barely see 1mg. unless it's mixed with vit c powder somehow i doubt, be careful with whatever you have. A picture is useless, you have no idea what could be in there, i wouldn't take it personally. the likely hood of LSD being in a powder, even cut with a powder is so unlikely, even more so for a person who has never done acid before.

I'm sure you could drop LSD onto some harmless powder, let it absorb and put it in a cap but when you get that close to the source that you have pure LSD powder, then you are in some tight circles of LSD users. Some guy who sells a lot of acid, is most likely not one of those people and either ripped you off or sold you something else. Most likely anyway.

Unfortunately there is no way for us to know for sure what it is and as a result we don't allow substance ID threads.

If you want to know, you'll need to buy a test kit, which can be bought from organisations like EZtest, Dancesafe and the Bunk Police.

Less common substances will require analytical testing, provided by the likes of ecstasydata, Energy Control and others.

I have closed this post but you are welcome to ask questions about the various testing methods here or in the Pill Testing Q&A forum
