Doctors oppose medical cannabis

^ With such ridiculous mark ups as $1 a mg (when some people use upwards of a gram of oxy a day), no one in the quasi-illegal drugs complex would want the status quo to change... except, of course, pain patients who lack good insurance and those who are hopelessly addicted to opioids with little money to spare.

How true. I was oblivious to the entire issue just 3 years ago before my chronic pain issues had arisen. Sure, I had heard things in little blurbs about the W.O.D.s, etc. and even from a libertarian standpoint, thought prohibition was wrong. But I never in a million years would have thought it would eventually effect me! Now the issues are suddenly far more relevant and I realize the full scale of this situation.

BTW, I have pretty good insurance. Cost of the drugs would not be much concern IF I had a doctor that would properly treat me instead of giving me just enough medication to 'tease' the pain. It took over a year and multiple doctors to find this one!
