KK, i susally really enjoy reading your reports and was actually looking forward to the video reports you had planned.
In these videos though i mostly just see you dosing and not much tripping. Also in the future i think you should focus on 1 trip rather than micing the videos of a bunch of your trips. I really couldnt understand much of what was going on.

anyway, that was just some constructive criticism.
Keep living life the way you wish to, keep feeding us your reports.

Your reports continue to be a good read.. Haven't seen anything that constitutes 'irresponsible use'.. Not enough to warrant some of the reactions you're getting anyway. Too much negative and not enough constructive criticism! The 'holier than thou' trippers need to lighten up.. (Drugs can be *gasp!* fun too!) I mean if you don't like her reports, how about not reading them? So what if the videos are a bit more subjective than your average TR? The message is neutral at worst, and positive at best.. I think her story shows how you can change your life around..

Adolfo, when someone decides to make their trips public, it is open for discussion whether it be negative, positive, constructive, etc. For a poster to expect and assume to only receive constructive and positive replies would be considered naive. In another note, how will a reader know if they will like or dislike a report without reading them first? Am I to assume that all her reports will always be the same?

I don't think it's that naive to expect only constructive criticism. Every negative comment can be made constructive by adding a way to make it better or improve it. Anyway what I was trying to say is good stuff K and don't stop posting!

Sometimes I think that a lot of people take psychedelics as a sacred sacrament, develope their own rituals and beliefs about the practice, and get pissed when they see someone using them in a ritual outside their own- especially if the new ritual looks like kids messing around

Its totally cool, imo, to take the drugs just for fun- but I think caution is in order because otherwise you could end up a clown with nothing behind the mask. Or maybe thats what happens when you dont trip enough. It is dangerous tho, because people do end up in asylums and, having taken a lot of drugs myself, I think its safe to say the more you take the thinner the tightrope of sanity becomes.

I've been gorging myself on your trip reports the last few days (just discovered them) so these videos couldn't have come at a better time.

You obviously have some writing talent and a monolithic personality, but this just wont do, you need to apply yourself more (perspiration remember).
Talent in itself will only get u so far, there's no free rides and only so much people are more than 'filling' in this world. So its sad to see no effort, no direction, no consistancy in this post.

Hypnic Jerk, not sure if you're commenting on my replies, but if you have read my previous responses thoroughly, you will realize that I am not "pissed" nor disagreeing with her "psychedelic ritual" at all. I'm 18 and my mates and I've "messed around" with many psychedelics ourselves. What I am debating is the fact that, in her trip reports, instead of concentrating more on the experience itself, most of her report consists of claiming self-greatness (so to speak) and her obsession with I-Ching. The majority of my debate with her is the fact that she claims that her reports are more accurate (compared to anybody else's?) and according to her, if the reader doesn't see the accuracy in her report through her "work of art" then the reader must be new at drugs or has a lesser knowledge. Where's the accuracy of her trip when they mostly consist of her flipping coins to find "the truth" through I-Ching?

You know I've always enjoyed reading your reports, but in all honesty these videos were a bit anti-climactic. I thought I would be seeing videos of you actually tripping, going around Tokyo explaining things from your perspective while under the influence. But all I saw was you dosing the drugs, and that dude Jesus Christ saying "beeyotch."

You can do so much more with this medium, but it kinda came off as being no greater than those "show us your funny rolling videos" threads, which are pretty useless. But I don't mean to sound condescending in any way, I'm just saying you can do this so much better. Think of this as having been your "pilot" and now you're gonna do it up right.

First of all, and this shouldn't be optional, you HAVE to get a microphone to plug into the camera. Even though you're in a bank and there is less noise than on the street by Taka's cart, I still have trouble hearing what's being said in some of those videos. A wireless, clip-on lavalier mic is ideal, but go with whatever you can find/afford.

And second of all, there simply needs to be more structure to these video reports. Format them like traditional, typed trip reports are done, only, obviously, with the addition of the video element. Maybe give us some action shots from within the depths of the journeys. I know you can do better than this, and I look forward to seeing the next ones.

Also, I just have to say that it's pretty funny how a lot of people instantly attack K when she posts here. And the stuff that they are attacking her about is so ridiculous. It's obvious that she has just been singled out by certain folks here, just because of her "internet popularity," I guess. You people are jumping down her throat about decisions she makes, and bringing up bullshit about harm-reduction or whatever, but there are so many worse offenders than her all over these forums. I see nothing harmful about her posts. Maybe she's hurting herself (that's MAYBE), but let her, she's a grown woman.

to exploding erotica- no I wasn't commenting on your replies, but to shit in general. I see where you're coming from- I think we just appreciate different styles of reports.

IMO there are reports which are basically just journal entries, someone's note to themselves about a trip. I like these, i'm not sure they exist.

Then there are journal entries corrupted by the knowledge that other people are going to be reading them. An unreliable narrator effect pops up. I don't care for these so much.

Then there are trip reports that are made pretty much just for the audience. I like these. They transform the problems of the second type into new strengths. I really Psychubuses TR's.

Edit: although I do see how considering her entries trip reports is a little too postmodern or something for some people
