Don't tell me where to post or what to post. This forum, like PD, is not here for people to praise one another for doing stupid things, its for harm reduction, and I'm perfectly entitled whether I'm a mod or not to tell someone that I think that they are doing is stupid and dangerous. Its stupid to drive a car while on DOC too. I'm the only one here who had the nerve to respond to it. If you really think I'm breaking the rules of the form, use the 'report' feature and let the mods here take care of it.

Yeah but I'm not promoting stupid and dangerous behaviour for the sake of my ego. I'm doing the opposite. I know very well I'm not winning praise here. Thats not what is about.

Fortunately these higher dose reports don't really seem to have much greater indication of toxic/overdose effects.

I guess you didn't read the report that was posted in PD today, and it still doesn't make it any less stupid to do 9mg your first time just to 'one up' everybody else.

my feeling is that this is not a forum for flaming people and starting arguments.

You're the one who's flaming and arguing. I just expressed an opinion, in the interest of safety, which is my priviledge to do so. If you think I'm breaking the rules of the forum, use the 'report' feature and let the mods here take care of it, instead of flaming me for my opinions.

And FWIW, it was your actions that I thought were stupid. Not you. You're not. Same for psychicpsycho. Some of his actions may be foolish, but not him. I'm not here to criticize people, just actions ;)
 
well in all fairness glogga notice multiple warnings at the start of the trip report suggesting that no one attempt to do this and that it is in fact dangerous and possibly even reckless.

Didnt really mean for people to read very far into the whole one upping thing either. Just put it as a sidenote since id only seen a report for 8mg. Ive just been disappointed with normal doses for many drugs so I decided to go for a truly over the top dosage for a change.

Again I stress that no one do this high unless they are thoroughly prepared for such an experience. Even then this high of a dosage is most likely unnecesarry for anyone that does not have an extremely high tolerance to most psychedelics. I suggest you be well prepared if you even think of attempting something like this. The visuals are far beyond amazing and the mindspace is literally mindblowing and sometimes frighteningly overwhelming. It even had me a little scared at points to the point where I had to literally force myself to go further into my own head. So be aware of what you are getting yourself into. This is far beyond a normal trip. Bar none one of the most amazing if not THE most amazing experiences I have ever had. Like I said earlier "mystical experience" any words I could put down simply fail to describe it.

i have taken high doses of DOC 3 times. 2 at 10mg and 1 at 12mg.
And personally it's still not enough. I want to get behind those doors you speak of. Yes all that shit is flowing through the cracks...but its like this layer of psychedelic plastic, covering the unknown DOC ubersphere that just wont let me fully in at the doses i have taken. I plan on a fatty one tomorro night if it arrives. 15-20mg.
 
wow great read man. this vortex/spiral/tornado is extremely intruiging. I predict some time in the future new DOC slang terms will surface with spiral or tornado in them. haha the DOC craze amuses me, but saddens me a little bit. DOC is suffering in quality the more it rises in popularity for many and it doesnt seem to stop rising
 
yep my honest advice if youre not buying from a vendor then I wouldnt recommend it. Notice many of the less than stellar trip reports come from people who have taken blotter or bought from a friend or alternate source.

dextermeth get in touch when you get a chance I am intrigued to hear of your experiences with it (past present and future). I plan on upping to 12-15mg range next time I do it.

About the whole breaking in thing: I tried at the beginning of the trip and failed near the 13 hour mark I succeeded or rather the other dimension succeeded. I dont think I actually broke into the other side I think it actually broke into me! It felt like another dimension pouring into my own head. My advice dont try to break into it invite it into you.

I have had other experiences where I broke in to the other side but this time I had to let the opposite happen.

You take antipsychotics. Why don't you lay off the antipsychotics and other pharms for a while and then see if the DOC will 'let you in fully.'
 
I agree with you glogga. I am currently on no medications of any sort take no dietary supplements or anything else really (just the obvious: food). Medications play a major role in tripping
 
took doc yesteday.....
4 mg of doc...made me trip 20-30 hours.....and made me puke horiblly and 3 others at this range..
seems like 4mg is as far as my body can handle on this chem.
i love the trip alot! many new ideas, etc....
but hell this cheical made me shudder alot and puke after 1 hour of ingestion.
i would want to go further with this but dont know if my body could....

That also happened to me at a similair dose made me voilently sick as the effects took hold then my body was VERY weak for the next hour. Surprisingly my 8mg trips were pretty much sife-effect free so its defintely worth a try going further sometime, if you think you can

yep yep. DOC seems to have no body load, at all. at least for me. i got body aches on DOI and DOB. None were present on DOC. i love this stuff can't wait till i have the time to try a higher does then 8mg. I am going to try 12mg
 
I found 2mgs quite pleasantly stimulating and psychedelic on the level of 1/2 a good hit of LSD, though I think the side effect of higher levels might be too much for me. For some reason I was experience chest discomfort and heart-rate elevation even at 2mgs.

I'm not on any medication what so ever. Been off them for about a month. And seroquel's half-life is 24hrs. The after effects of taking it for so long was massive insomnia and pretty narly anxiety 5 days tops.

and DOC definately has a body load, especially once you've peaked.
 
While quetiapine fumarate (AKA Seroquel©) has a half-life that may be in the range you suggest, all anti-psychotics can cause changes in receptor regulation that can persist for significant periods of time after the last dose has been cleared. It is entirely possible that some receptors could still be modulated up to a month after your last dose (depending on how long you were taking the drug continuously prior to cessation).

Because of the length of the trip; Nope, I have not found the time!

Having a young family and the holidays, 3 weddings, being in a working band, family gatherings blab blab blab etc... These last 4 month have been REALLY busy.

Ive only been able to use the 6 hr gems; even still, although my wife has, while we where visiting El Morro National Monument last month. she tried 1.5mg and says she liked the effects, as little as they where. I was the designated driver.

So being responsible adults and hippie minded at the same time, is preventing use from experimenting further. we have to wait until the holidays are over with, and life slows down to a normal pace, then!
