DOC (6 mg) - First Time - A Psychedelic Paradigm, Journeys

Holy crap man, are you still taking it really frequently?

When I took 6mg, for a time, I couldn't tell whether my eyes were open or closed.

My first shot at it was 5mg, and I've taken up to 7 after a long break, but to answer your question, yes I'm back to taking it really frequently. It never really gave me visuals tho, just mild fluctuations. I really don't think i'm especially tolerant to it or anything either, as 1mg produces plenty of effects.

That's interesting, Intoxo, that you don't get many visuals from it. The first few times I took it I didn't really either, but then all of a sudden it got so visual I could barely see during the peak at even 3.5mg. This is even after most things had stopped being particularly visual due to dosing too frequently. Of course I know you're taken it more often than I have...

Doc is totally magic to me but its damn hard to put it into a nice succinct retrospective... especially because I'm in the middle of the story right now.

One of the most solidly well written reports I've seen in a long time. A lot of this brings to my mind another 4-halogen-phenylalkylamine, 2C-I. The profoundity of the visual sensory experience and the associating feeling, mostly. I seems to me likely that from a cognitive standpoint, it's because of more preliminary neural constructs of vision are reached by the conscious 'space'. So, formation of experience out of more sensory data - these seem to let you explore that track, which is unbearably psychedelic with high intensity. I'd be pretty hesitant to take DOC for these reasons, because in that state there's not necessarily much promise of becoming normal again. ;)

Have you heard of any DOC users getting HPPD? I've heard its happened to a lot who've abused 2C-I but not on DOC. IT sounds like there are lot of people who take doc way too often as well.

DOC is one of my favourite chemicals but I don't abuse it as such.

Not sure if you meant me or Intoxo.. but if me - nah, I've only taken it once. They bumped this older topic =D

I dont know if I could do it again. I mean, I could, but I'd need a full 48 hours of "nothing to do" and somewhere nice and comfortable to do it at. It was really intense for me and the final 12 hours can be sort of annoying unless you have other things to counter the comedown with.

I'm pretty sure he was asking Intoxo.

C00kiemonster, I've not heard of any HPPD reports. To me DOC seems so benign (natural maybe) on the body and mind (although psychosomatically that can differ!). Although it takes a long, long time to fade, it always leaves me feeling clean and pure in its wake. The comedown needn't even be considered a comedown so much as a built-in reintegration tool.

That being said... I definitely wouldn't abuse this one. Its power seems enormous.

I haven't noticed a single bit of persistant visual effects, but like I said, for me DOC is almost purely mental, I never really got profound visuals.

I think one would need a 6mg dose of DOC just to decipher what you wrote. 8o

DOC isnt really that visual of a chemical for me. i have tried doses from 1-6mg. for me DOC is more of a 20 hour giggly madness. It can give me a huge mental trip. not really confusing but more of a madness. not a terrifing madness. but a blissful madness.
If you guys love the DOCtor you should defiently try him out with 2ce.
i find that 2ce is perfect for adding to visuals and DOC adds more to the mind trip.
together they are great. make sure you time them right
i will have a report and them this week

What the fuck. 6mg? Isn't that insane?!?!!? No wonder you said DOC is one hardcore never-ending story of a trip LOL
