yeah i know i got what i deserve, but what if i wasnt going to drive away? The point of my post wasnt to express how annoyed i was, it was to confirm that you can get done for dd with no keys iin the ignition which is bullshit imo

But if I was in a pub or bar, and some fuckwits were in the pub, and saw them driving off, happy to dob these dickheads in...... but for close mates... would be hard.

id have no problem dobbing in amate if i saw em on the road and knew they had been drinking. to me if you get in a car drunk...then you deserve to get caught.

i have a friend who got caught doin this and their stats are:

drink driving whilst licenced=loss of licence

drink driving whilst on a suspended licence

drink driving whilst on a cancelled/still suspended licence= 6mths weekend detention, 100 hrs of community service, huuuuge fine.

note: all these three incendencts were done within two a two year period/over two years

they are lucky they didnt go to jail for 6mths...the only reason they got off with no full time jail is they are my age and had a good full time job...

the only reason they got done drink driving is cause they were stupid to get in the car in the first place...

id have no trouble teling the cops if my friend was to drunk behind the wheel.

i reckon this isn't an all bad idea...
if they've got operation noah (i knew i wasnt tripping ), then i reckon they should have this one too (or instead would be preferable).
imo, busting drunk drivers is more important than busting dealers...(im sure most drug users feel the same).

Well, best of both worlds.

If we are ever ripped by a shitty dealer, why dont we, - hear me out here- offer him a few drinks, send him on his way, then dob him in as a drunk driver. He gets done for DD, and you get satisfaction, all without being stabbed for dobbing in a dealer.
