Do you think weed is a 'gate-way' drug?

Smoking Marijuana disenchanted me from the whole "DRUGS ARE BAAAAAAD" bullshit that I was fed throughout my entire childhood. I would lie if I said my weed use didn't influence my decision to try other drugs. If I had been given the truth about marijuana and other drugs to begin with I doubt I would have experimented with so many other substances.

Marijuana is a gateway drug as much as water is a gateway drink.

It's a gateway drug due to it's legal status. You've got to go to the streets or any sort of drug dealer to get cannabis, and that exposes you to a different side of society.

if you could go buy a pack of joints at the gas station, cannabis would in no way be a gateway drug, as Chemical's comparison suggests.
