It is commonly known that law enforcement watches Bluelight. (Hi guys and gals!)
There are board wide rules against incriminating yourself. Paramount, however, is simple common sense. Do not say things that incriminate yourself on Bluelight. Do not use Bluelight to deal or source. All of this is covered in the Bluelight User Agreement (BLUA).
Posts that read something like "OMG I JUST MADE 5 OUNCES OF FIRE CRYSTAL" are obviously edited or removed by the mods to protect the user.
The upside, if one exists, is that educational opportunities from a harm reduction perspective exist here for LE. Not all police believe that drugs should be illegal. Check out Law Enforcement Against Prohibition for examples of present and former officers who are pro-legalization or pro-decriminalization.
So don't admit doing anything illegal and you won't have anything to worry about.

Probably, but I think they're wasting their time. The local cops would have better luck recording my cell phone texts and calls if they wanted to bust me. It's not like we're posting our names, addresses, and plans to score/deal on this site.

FBI, DEA, CIA, DOD...agencies surfing this site is no biggie. Running tracert and trying to track ip addies (bluelight's is 64.73.155.42) and potentially figure who everyone is, where they're posting from, et cetera...? Whole other story.
