sometimes the thought of our minds being connected makes me insanely insecure lol
occam's rusty hacksawNo. why does everyone philosophize in physical terms. What a simple way to put things.
I would call it more than coincidence. I will look at my cellphone 5 seconds before I receive one , because I just have some thought about a person; and lo-and-behold, the person I was thinking about is callin(This only happens to me with my VERY VERY close friends and my father, but it happens regularly enough to give me the shivers and get thinking

indeed, but that is necessary for language to work. every single thing we conceptualise into descriptions and definitions are exactly that, a reduction in essence in order to create a semblance of manageability.
coincidence and connections are not mutually exclusive. although any event can't be both, it is not certain they are all one or another.
i remember seeing a very startling experiment on some documentary years ago where they had bees in a maze, one at a time. the bees were from the one hive. the first number were confused and kept getting lost, but over time as they made it to the end of the maze (to some reward), the subsequent bees were somehow improving the maze times slightly. the most interesting part is after a certain number got through, the rest got through with ease. it was almost as if the knowledge of the correct path through the maze, once reached a certain critical mass, became a common knowledge.
