The ideal feeling of happiness. It's my favorite drug of all time. The euphoria the openness. The way music sounds is untouchable to any other drug. Ecstasy has changed my life for the better. I will always look back at the first night i ever did it and just think wow that was the best night of my life.

I don't mean anything by it- it's a quote from Ecstasy Rising from a psychologist when he was asked his opinion of MDMA. He felt it was unique in that it was the one drug that a large number of people felt they had actually benefitted from.
I can agree- I think MDMA is among a few things that have helped me develop as a person. I think some people may feel the same about psychedelics

Yes, I do. It changed my life. It really put things into perspective as well as strengthened relationships, because of being able to be completely honest and nothing but good intentions. I would give up drinking forever as long as I could do E once in a while.

It has the potential to be beautiful, but it can be equally paranoia-inducing and uncomfortable....Its also claimed my sanity a couple of times in the midst of a helpless binge

I think of MDMA as an amphetamine, A very very compelling one, I could go my whole life without any more dexedrine, but would have a real tough time giving up on MDMA completely.
It seems to give many people who take it an aesthetic to which they glorify, an indescribable moment of their time on earth that they so urgently grasp to explain but simply cannot...so they take more MDMA to get back to that place!
It's an incredibly "gimme" style drug, it is an amphetamine it is very addictive but at the same time can liberate one from a lifetime of bullcrap.
I think it's what some refer to as a catch 22. but in the realm of "magic pills" MDMA is one of the truest, fastest, most up-front mind altering substances known. It causes similar "magic" in every case.
similarly people can just have horrible times on it and trip to hard for what they're used to. but for drug users typically MDMA is a staple.
