i was in a bad car accident and broke my back august of last year and i was on oxys for 2 months then in october (last year) they gave me a script of tramadols and since then iv gone threw 3 or 4 scripts i honestly dont even remember, but anyways im about to finish my bottle and im still having pain like all the time, if i call up walgreens for my refill do you think the doctor will sign off to it

so they r just giving u tramadol now? since u have broken your back last year u need to go to a pain management doctor i dont think u r now bc u r just getting tramadol which is a very very weak pain killer. u just need to tell your doctor u want to go to pain management get your records transferred and u will get alot more help than tramadol for sure!! pain manageent docs r allowed to prescribe the more potent narcotics verses a regular doctor. as for your question i dont see why your doc wouldnt sign off on just tramadol its like ibprfofin really although i do like it for energy it does nothing for pain in my opinion. PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR for sure is where u need to go .

well the doctor that prescribed it is the one that actually did the surgery on me so hes not your ordinary Dr lol and i like tramadol so i do want another script regardless, but i will look into that pain management

i like tramadol also for energy to me its not really like a pain pill but if i take 6 or 7 they give me lots of energy they r good for getting things done but yes i think u will b alot better off going to pain management for sure:) best wishes to u

You may have to go see your doctor to get a new prescription given that it's more than 12 months since the original script was written.
