DO you remember that strange chance meeting at that one off event, and how it didn't even seem awkward that we were perfect strangers talking as though we'd known each other for months and months, not just a few minutes?
Do you remember the day we walked around the city hand in hand, staring at the sky and wishing that the day would never end?
Do you remember the moment of anticipation before our first kiss, and how badly you wanted to be sure that i wanted it too?
Do you remember when we sat at Circular Quay and watched the busy people as they rushed their lives away - do you remember the contentment? Being lost in each other's arms? Staring out to sea? The sky growing dark around us?
Do you remember the final moment we parted in the train station - locked in that passionate embrace, with all the people watching out of the corner of their eyes as if it was a spectacle to behold?
Do you remember the first time you invited me into your house and made me feel so at home? Arriving after what seemed like forever - do you remember how we lay down in your bed for the first time together, and how you held me so tightly, so lovingly, as though there was only this minute to be together, and anything less than perfection was simply not enough?
Do you remember looking into my eyes and making me feel as though i was the luckiest girl to ever have lived?
I remember that moment when the world seemed to stop, all all i could do was reel from the enormity of everything happening around me. The colours were so vivid - i can still taste your lips on mine, even now, and smell your scent in the air as i wander through these moments we have shared together...
I hope there will be many more moments like these that we can share together - the enormity of what we have will never be outshined...
