Do you prefer tripping inside or outside?

^ I love tripping inside man. I like to lock my self in my room, hang up my "trippy" poster's and just lay on my bed with tune's playing in the background whist looking at the poster's :D Plus i have recently just bought 32 inch LCD TV so i can hook my laptop up to it and watch milkdrop and other visualizations ;)

I reckon that's the best way to go, no one else to bother you which mean's you can just let go :)
 
at first sometimes when planning I sometimes think that I'll stck to inside ....

When I actually trip If it's a decent day I feel like outside.
 
On all psychedelics I prefer mixed, outside ánd inside both for a period of the trip. Outside on shrooms makes for prettier visuals and a more comfortable trip I noticed then inside, but inside can be more relaxing. Both has its upsides, so I like to do both in one trip.
 
I renamed the thread to accurately reflect the question. In the future please try to name your threads so that people know what they're about. I was about to close it because I thought you were just going to say you like mushrooms, since you titled it "I like tripping on shrooms..." :)

Personally, I like tripping outside much more, but inside can have its uses as well, to really explore deep inside yourself, laying down with eyes closed, or with music and good lighting. Outside trips are much more beautiful and usually more meaningful, and more interesting, for the most part. And I feel much more connected to the planet. And outside tripping always makes me feel much freer and more relaxed and carefree. Being inside on psychedelics can make me feel enclosed and trapped, and cut off from everything. I have never had a difficult trip outside, but I have had a number of them inside. I wouldn't want to be outside in a city or in a crowd though... just out by myself or with companions in a natural environment, especially a forest.
 
Depends on the drug, the weather, and who I'm tripping with if anyone. Sometime I trip indoors and out in the same trip. Each setting has it's time and place.
 
I have difficulties with LSD trips indoor. Easy to get into some paranoid headspace.

This. I'm pretty experienced so I tend to go with the flow of whoever I'm with, usually I'm the reason they're tripping at all so it's part and parcel. I've put myself in a lot of horrible social situations while tripping hard on a lot of different substances so crowds/public and stuff in the daytime isn't really an issue for me anymore.

When I'm going solo I tend to spend the come up indoors, and around peak/come down I will venture out to lie on some nice grass or something, do something thinking/writing/meditation/whatever I feel like. Of course sometimes I just stay inside, and sometimes I spend the whole time outdoors, but I can't say I necessarily have a preference, except when it's a particularly nice day outside. When mother nature is feeling generous we should accept that bounty ;)
 
I think it differs every time. Mostly though I like tripping outside. It gives me more clarity on my trip and I can focus more on bodily feelings. I also love how big the world seems when I'm out and about.
 
I find I can get paranoid tripping outside. Especially during the day or around other people. However, when tripping with friends, the 'Trippy Walk' towards or just after the peak is an essential part of the night ;) "Woah look at that!" kinda thing hehe
 
Yeah, I get paranoid. I would much rather spend 80% of my trip inside, but when peaking I'll usually have to leave inside as I feel constricted. So I may be in the minority, but inside for me. I can control music and lights and people much easier...People really weird me out when tripping, unless I am at a good show.

Is a grateful dead show an option? I spend my hardest trips there as it seems like a fucking playground for tripping people, where everyone is fried out of their gourd, and the band is helping guide you.

Outdoors, I can't stand being in a single place when I'm tripping, I get realy restless, but I only did it once, at night on a party with some friends, is it better doing it daytime on nature or just wandering around town? Someday I just want to go out alone tripping , but I don't think this is something very safe for someone that's relatively new to psychedelics to do, is it?

Wondering around town as a newbie? Fail.

Day time on a nice day in nature with nobody else around? Success.
 
Being in town is bad idea in general... I'd do it and have, but it was generally uncomfortable due to the proximity to so many people, police, etc, who you don't want to know you're tripping. If you're a beginning, then it's a recipe for disaster.

Outside in nature though, away from other people, is my favorite place to trip, however. I can get paranoid inside, but outside makes me feel free and careless and euphoric... and complete. :)

I'm sure many people. I hate when people think you need to be in nature or outside to enjoy the trip. For me personally most things especially minor ones like being outside or inside don't bother me. Its more about me delving into my mind where ever i'm at. I suppose it might not matter as much to me because I could just walk outside whenever I feel like it and go into the woods in my backyard. Either way though I like both and each has their purposes but 80% of the trip is sent indoors with the other 20% usually sent outside in the woods smoking a joint or something. It might also be that my room is large covered in psychedelic posters/lights/one entire wall is painted checkerboard style and has a very comfortable chair.
