Personally, I ALWAYS swallow my Xanax pills. It's without question the RoA that best serves the purposes for which I take Xanax in the first place most effectively, since I never have any trouble waiting 15 or so minutes for it to start taking effect, & the duration of the effects is really important to me & not something I'd be willing to compromise, since it doesn't last too long to begin with anyway.
However, I'm certainly not saying that one RoA is superior to the other... I feel like it mostly depends on the individual, the reason they're taking Xanax, & the effects they're most trying to achieve. My best friend takes Xanax to help surpress really severe nausea from kidney failure that subsequently causes her extensive pain, & I know that if she doesn't take Xanax sublingually than it's almost not worth taking at all.
