Do you prefer CEV's or OEV's?

^i dont think the plus four is so much visuals. except the lower ones are being unable to ignore them.

i had a plus four on one wippit once. no patterns or anything. I turned into this place. Where everything around me turned into soft cartoon like almost puppets or stuffed animals. and god was like rewarding me and petting me. I've never been more at peace, or happy. it was like IV'ing skittles. with my eyes. everything was glowing and light purple. I've stopped and thought. Like. wow that will never happen again. I've never been that happy before. and i have no idea why. so random. and vivid in my mind.

i usually think of visuals as pattern overlays or morphing. rather than hallucinations.
 
OEVs definitely, it's cool sitting in one spot and watching it change completely based on what song your playing
 
OEVs definitely, especially the ones from low-medium doses that don't just replace reality and make the whole OEV/CEV distinction pointless.

Some really cool ones I've had:
Watching a movie on 1 tab of al-lad - picture looked like it had an edge detection filter applied to it
Face morphing on 2c-c and 2c-e - you look at a picture of someone and their face changes based on your relationship (like you look at a girl you like and she gets a smile + looks even prettier)
Distortions of depth perception - like drinking from a glass and it appears to be really really deep, apartment buildings looking bigger/smaller, ...
Logos on products moving like they were alive.
Everything looking pretty when you're happy and ugly when your not.
Everything melting and running around if you look at one point, while looking normal if you move your eyes around.
Rainbows over everything.
A 4d mesh of wires while lying in darkens and try to sleep after I thought the mxe I took wore off.
Children looking like monsters on 2c-e.
Kaleidoscopic vision on 8 tabs of al-lad (everything looked totally normal except like I was watching it through a kaleidoscope).

Also had some cool CEVs:
Walking through a church on a really low dose of 2c-e (7mg?), came to a door with the devils symbol but couldn't go past it... still wonder what was beyond it.
Being somewhere completely else if I closed my eyes at the peak of 450ug al-lad, place looked completely realistic and very very beautiful.

Don't like most audio distortions because they usually sound creepy to me.

Never had any of the seeing faces in random places some people describe...

Very nice black, I enjoyed reading that, faces I believe are usually the result of ego loss, for me I only see faces on plant matter, never on walls or anything else man-made. Weird. Im not sure how many psychedelics induce ego-loss I think a lot, but I definitely know shrooms do hehe.
 
I've read in a few reports that people have seen faces even without ego loss. But I guess it doesn't even matter that much. I have no desire of seeing faces anyway, just seems creepy to me. Perhaps I'd reconsider if/when I saw them.

I'd like to see all the colors change as a visual effect.... like to inverted or black and wight or whatever. Anyone had that happen?

I think that most can induce ego loss if dosed high enough and under the right circumstances.

Maybe you will, maybe you won't. The last face I saw (independent of textural modifications) was a couple months back when I was on a moderate dose of DXM. Tripping quite nicely, I took a hit of a synthetic cannabinoid... I knew instantly that I was in for it when I saw a malicious, smiling elf's face (complete with funny hat and bells) receding away from me into the distance. Like he was there the whole time, just waiting for me to take that hit, and when I did, he found it really funny in a mean-spirited way. What happened afterward was pretty rough.

For the sake of the topic, that was an OEV ;)
 
You're definitely right, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

And dxm isn't otc here as far as I know, suppose I could just order some from some RC vendor, but then I'd probably rather order mxe/3-meo-pcp.
 
I've tried a few, but I must admit that there are a lot more to try + the doses weren't always that high :)

Anyone have suggestions on how to see the color thing (totally changed colors on everything, like inverted or black and white or whatever)?

I find phenethylamines can do this quite well, particularly 2c-e and 2c-p.
Never inverted black and white, that would be quite something to see, but more along the lines of "everything is so fucking purple right now wtf why is everything so purple I don't remember having purple walls omg"

Same, 2C-E, DOC, 25C, 2C-I all have all done neat things to color. DOC was neat, laying back with my ceiling turning to purple tiles with bright orange flowing grout. Normally I get more colorful paterns than anything though, like Middle Earth graffiti all over the walls, more than palate swapping.
MXE + Shrooms on the come up turned everything nuclear green for a good spell, before the TV started talking to me and my girlfriend started moving all twitchy stop-motion like a less scary version of the girl climbing out of TV in The Ring.

I had that purple (or other color) stuff on many substances before, in fact today on 300ug lsz all colors appeared blueish/greenish.

So actually getting bw or inverted colors would be almost impossible ?
 
I wouldn't say entirely impossible, but extremely unlikely and more or less impossible to purposely trigger

dmt for me sometimes turns everything orange, yellow and purple.

LSD makes everything have eyes for me, as well as seeing Vedic dieties appear out of thin air.

again the vedic deities are typical for dmt ime. lsd is all patterns. patterns, letters and kangaroos sometimes. the only time i've seen eyes like in some alex grey paintings was with mushrooms.

Guess I'll just have to keep trying, it's fun anyway :)

If al-lad can quite reliably make movies look like they had an edge detection filter applied, 2c-c & 2c-e make pictures of faces change based on your relationship with the person, 2c-e make screens of electronic devices unreadable (just see a blank color)... I'm sure I'll get the color thing eventually.

What doses are we talking about?
 
I see lots of very bright neon-like visual a lot on shrooms. Its that perfect key step where you can no longer imagine in your head what the world actually looks like that I love. When you truly are in wonderland.
 
+1 on whoever said shrooms have very tribal visuals. i see all these crazy temples and masks that seem very mayan when I'm on higher doses in a dark room
