Do you like to dance while on LSD?

I'm planning on taking LSD this weekend for a show that's coming up and was wondering if people feel like dancing while on it. Like will I be wanting to dance as if I was on E or would I feel like sitting down and enjoying the visuals?

It's definitely a rave drug, so I imagine tons of people enjoy it! Personally, though, I'm one of those people who only likes dancing when I'm super drunk, so when I went to a party on acid the other day I only lasted a couple minutes before needing to get out. The lights were cool, though. ;]

edit: And I did have lots of energy; when I was outside, I did front handsprings and somersaults and stuff. So it's more just an issue of me not being a dancey person.

Hmm well yeah if you have some experience with acid then you know the feeling in your body you get, being still can be fine but walking and dancing feel much more like everything is flowing.
I can understand the question, assuming you want to know if it is appropriate for parties.

Personally I would not use acid for my first time at a party because it is much nicer to get used to it in a relaxed, controlled and free environment. Just at home around the house and in your garden if you have one... or going for a nice walk in a park. You can listen to some music and see how great it is, how good it sounds and how nice it is to dance on.

At a party it might go swimmingly especially if you don't take too much, but on the other hand it might just be a little too much input and could feel overwhelming. Survivable for sure, but not ideal.
How much is 'not too much'? Well you can only know that by knowing from friends exactly how strong they are or by first having tested a half or whole hit at home.

It would've been my first time trying it and I'll take your advice and not use it at the party and to get some experience in before using it at a show.

Sounds smart. And it really doesn't have to be a shame or anything. Because you can just take something else (or nothing if its not a big deal) at that party, and after you have gotten some experience with acid you should be able to predict for yourself somewhat if it is what you would like to try at another show, another time.

So yes, I like to dance when tripping

Dancing to darkpsy at underground psytrance parties can be a bit like exorcism or something like that... you are danced by the music! and it can be a very cleaning and spiritual experience

not only that, lsd will make you understand the very reason why dancing is just the best thing to do: it is the expression of the pure unadultered joy of being alive (except maybe dubstep lol zombie-attack :D ) of being at peace in the moment, feeling one with the music and using the music as umbilical cord to the vast infinity of the universe... or not, whatever your ilusion-tunnel is made of... sorry being a bit high on amnesia haze :D

but yeah, music+lsd = pure extatic love of life
