BTW, did you guys notice that the fellow the show follows for much of the show passed away this year. His name was Todd and I kind of liked him but I really feel for his mother. She's now lost two sons and a daughter-in-law to drug OD's.

Dead for real? That's a shame; he actually seemed a decent person, you've got to feel for the mother as well-nobody deserves shit like that. Apparently drug OD's were massive in that area at the time...maybe it's a good thing they've tightened things up there. (Although maybe not to the average benzo or opiate addict)
 
I have heard people say they like the itch but I find the itch more of an inconvenience than anything else (not part of the buzz). I once took 400mg of Codeine with no tolerance and had a histamine reaction and I didn’t have any anti histamines to hand, let’s just say I was in hell for about an hour.

Some of the anti histamines inhibit the absorption of the opiate so I think it’s best to take them if you’re feeling an uncomfortable itch afterwards, I hate the itching of the scalp for example. I use Chlorphenamine Malate if I get a histamine reaction regardless of the cause, it does not dry you out too much and is OTC at least in the UK. I find that Dipenhydramine, Promethazine and Doxy leaves me feeling dirty/dehydrated, as a previous poster mentioned Hydroxyzine is probably the best as it gives the least anticholinergic effects but you need a script for that in the UK. I guess things like mitazapine and trazadone would also work but I have no experience with these.

I was considering doxy as a sleep aid; the itch doesn't affect me for some reason (I'm on suboxone). I think mirtazipine would be too powerful a sedative, and could perhaps ruin an opiate buzz-when I take 30 mg all I want to do is sleep.

Not at all man, the only opioid I hate the itch from like I emphasized in my post was Codeine, which doesn't do anything for someone with my tolerance anyways.

I absolutely love the itch of my dearest morphine sulphate coursing through my veins. I don't even mind the pins and needles after pushing off or the redness around the IV site, it's probably my favorite IV opioid and favorite itch of all the opioids, although hydrocodone and hydromorphone both make me itch something real nice...

I don't like to glorify drug abuse though so I try to leave my personal opinions on stuff like that out of my posts but your def not the only person who likes it. or maybe you are, but there are others who :: love ::.... even ::live:: for it...

edit: mirtazepine and trazodone?!?! you crazy? haha, those would be absolutely horrible to mix with opioids, would definitely ruin every thing about them for me.... I'd honestly rather take quetiapine if we *must* take non-traditional anti-histamines... but like I said in my post, hydroxyzine is the gold mine of AH's in my experience. Perfect balance between itch and relief from itching so much that you cause skin damage due to excessive scratching....... especially of the balls. That's why it's best to have your girlfriend scratch your balls gently with her clean, manicured finger nails or playfully grazing them with her teeth.... ;) that's the best way to deal with opioid itch IMO.....
 
You can take 1 25mg Promethazine and it will stop the itch but me personally I like the itch its one of the things about opiates I love. I take 1 25mg with 5 roxies and I'm gone. Oh and on the plus side it increases euphoria too. The only reason I take it is because it helps the nausea.
 
yeah promethazine is another one I've read literature about how it can increase the euphoria like hydroxyzine, and definitely adds some sedation and at 25mg that's barely any so it wouldn't make it "dirty" like some of the other suggestions in this thread. From experience and research, mostly experience.

Yeah as I mentioned I have no experience with these are they anti psychotic drugs?

The only opiates which make me itch are Codeine, DHC, Diamophine and Morphine. Codeine and DHC I find the worst, I think it comes down to dosage, take much more than you are used to and you will probably have an uncomfortable itch or if your unlucky a full blown histamine reaction.
Pretty much any anti histamine I have taken with opiates has blown the buzz somewhat. I find bupe methadone and Tramadol don’t make me itch very much.
 
It's weird: codeine never had any effect on me at, even at high doses. Dihydrocodeine was always my thing, and that's a pretty itchy opiate, but I always find the itch pleasurable tbh; never was annoying to me.
 
Love the itch from any opi. Not exactly sure why, but I've always loved the itch. Only downside is being in public and not being able to itch without looking like a fucking junkie. I get the itch from any opi and from subs. Starts with my nose and gets really intense around my thighs.
 
@all - regarding the servers, I'm not sure what's going on the past few days with the servers being so busy, there are constantly users joining BL and I've never seen the servers fail to be able to handle that load, and I'm pretty sure if anything there are less people making new accounts since most of the times in the past few days that I've typed in bluelight.ru, it goes straight to the servers are busy page so registration would probably be lower than normal, but I'm just speculating.

I tried to move this thread to DC last night but the site locked up on me and I guess the post I typed out never went through.. oh well.... It's working intermittently now which is a helluva lot better than if they were completely down.
 
Hiya Tricomb - I was moaning about this in another place as I had given a donation to BL prrviously n completed the survey. I thought it was just me but looks like it's it's happening to everyone too

Did they not do something awhile back where they got rid of a lot of old material/threads/ posts? Could they not do that again?

The admins have said they're working on it, that's all I know.
