^^ Bad kisses (at least as a girl and from a girl's perspective) can ruin the deal. It's a turnoff for me. It is hard on that first kiss, because your'e so nervous. That's why I like to have a cocktail during dinner to loosen me up if I know I really like the guy and will want to kiss him.

A funny story for me: I went on this date with this really really gorgeous man. He was 9 years younger than I was, and we didn't know we were so far apart in age until our first date. He was smooth and interesting, but he told me he made out with his best friend's girlfriend after he wasn't over her and they had only been broken up for a week. I thought "Hummm, ok, that's a negative." Then, it was really cold and he walked me to my car. I wasn't sure if I wanted to kiss him and was thinking "Maybe next date" but then he asked to kiss me. He ruined it altogether. :(

I absolutely adore kissing. I could kiss for hours on end. My boyfriend is an amazing kisser and it always feels so good. It's just such an intimate way to be with someone. I concur with RL, I love it when my boyfriend takes my cheeks in his hands. I love it when he runs his fingers through my hair too. He's just as much into kissing as I am which is such a good thing. I have been with people who weren't into kissing and it felt horrible. If you can't kiss me then you can't get anything else from me either. Kissing is an essential part of foreplay for me.

No. It was awkward and I dunno it's kinda my fault but I kinda felt turned off and went home. It was a weird awkward moment. I was kinda hoping he'd be brave and bold and then he wasn't.

Yes. It doesn't have to be cheesy, but just bold. I like bold people, because I'm bold myself. It's a subconscious thing I think that I want someone to be just as much if not more bold than I am. Although, not making a move at all on the first date has left me wanting another date and it has led to more. lol

Yeah, me too. Funny thing is I didn't realize he wasn't into it at first until I looked back and realized he never had makeout sessions with me. It was straight to sex, and I think that is part of the reason I didn't like the sex as much.
 
I dont like long kisses, , french kisses, sexual kisses, or intimate kisses. I only like cute little quick pecks really. Sometimes the custom seems pretty random to me, but a quick little kiss on the cheek or something can be a nice substitute for the words "I like you" sort of.

When I instigate a first kiss with someone I'm usually the one that makes the move. I usually ask up front, "hey so ugh your hot, do you wanna make out? :)" so far its always worked
