I rent a house and have 2 roomates. Both are cool and I trust them, but we all lock our bedroom doors just in case other people are around just to be safe. I put things away, but I wouldn't call it hidden. If someone wanted to find my drugs and paraphernalia in my room it wouldn't be very difficult.

What if all the head shops in the region have been shut down for possession of paraphernalia? The closest one that I know of is like, a hundred miles away.
Internet? Shit, I must be spoiled by California's legislation. There are 3 head shops in walking distance from my house. 2 of them are on the same street like one block away from each other.

Craft and hobby stores often sell them for keeping buttons and such, you might take a look there if there's one nearby.

Depends what it is.
If it's just some weed to smoke (meaning i wouldn't have an amount bigger than 7 grams), then no I don't "hide it" per say. I usually wrap it up in a piece of paper and leave it on my dresser, sometimes I leave it open still so you can see the bud. My parents really don't care that much about weed. But when I have anything else, yea I definitely hide it.

So now after I've been caught with shit I got some fire hidin spots. I still look for new ones just incase the anti drug Nazi starts to pick up on the old ones....

When I was living in an apartment with some homies I also had to hide my pills because they were huge pill Nazis and would tell my parents if they found them( like the little bitches they where). It's a damn shame having to hide shot from your buddies who you are supposed to trust. Shit I don't trust those niggas one bit after all the fuck shit they pulled. Needless to say we ain't friends anymore ha.

When i was living at home, I had a shelf in the closet with drawers on it, but the drawers didn't go all the way to the back, so I could reach back, and store stuff there.
Now that i live on my own, I keep things out of direct sight (except for my bowl - that's usually visible) in a drawer. Only keep a few doses in the drawer, with the rest under lock and key. Neither are "hidden", but it's out of the way enough that you'd have to go looking for stuff to find it.

I moved back in with my parents for the summer a month ago, and the first day I was back I noticed a fabric pouch thing in the fucking freezer... sure enough, mom and dad forgot to put their stash away. It was gone the next time I looked in there. Since then I haven't given a fuck about hiding my weed shit, it's all over the shelves in my closet, they know I smoke and don't really approve but if they ever comment on my stash I can bring up theirs >_>
Seeing as how they'd kill me if they ever found junk or pills in the house, I hide it all inside something that appears completely solid and not hollowed-out. Somehow they've never caught on, even though I've been opiated out around them basically every day for the last month and all of last summer...
