I used the FSE but every thread I go to talks about cannabutter.

If I want to make brownies or cookies, either with a picket mix or from scratch. Can I simply add the marijuana to the butter and then follow in instructions. It's still gonna cook in the oven. Will it work? What are the advantages and disadvantages. aside from the fact it's 10x easier lol.

Thanks!

Hey Macee, a quick search through CD found an answer to your question, as part of the MEGA Edible/Oral Cannabis thread,

Does THC need to be dissolved in fat/oil/alcohol in order to be active?

No. This is a common misconception. However, you may want to make cannabutter/cannaoil so that you don’t end up with all the inactive vegetable matter in your food. It’s up to you.

So, I'm going to close this thread, since your answer is right there, and you can browse that thread for more information. The disadvantage is pretty much that you get nasty plant matter in your edible, the advantage is it's faster.
