I'm taking it for weight loss btw. The capsules I'm taking are the typical "ECA Stack" and contain 30mg of Ephedrine, 120mg of caffeine, 15mg of Aspirin and 80mg narnegin (the last one apparently just increases the effectiveness).

I probably take about 4 a day on average. Sometimes 5.

One day I remember I had only had one and in the afternoon I had this random attack of hysterical crying and an intense feeling of hopelessness like nothing would ever be okay. It was a combined panic attack and cryingness. It was sort of out of the blue. I literally had no reason to be upset or depressed (I DO have a history of depression, but I'm on Sertraline/Zoloft and it's been extremely effective for about 4 years now).

Could it be ephedrine withdrawal? I know with stronger stimulants you get depression and tiredness but ephedrine is the only "upper" I've done so I have no experience.

Do you get a withdrawal upon cessation or not? If you do, should I just wean myself off?

Caffeine is one of the most widely used and addictive drugs available. When stopped, one can suffer a range of withdrawal symptoms, including mild to severe headache, fatigue, drowsiness, dysphoric moods (depression, irritability), difficulty concentrating, flu-like symptoms, nausea and muscle pain.

You should taper slowly off of the caffeine & ephedrine; try to replace with things that are decaffeinated or have much less caffeine and are healthier like green tea, or move on to natural sugars from fruits or real fruit juices.

i used ephedrine in similar fashion as you...the next day if i went without ephedrine i would feel sluggish but it wasnt too bad..no real withdrawals from what i felt..

oh and yes when i stopped using caffeine i did have withdrawals, bad headaches, low mood, terrible lethargy and joint pain believe it or not..i couldnt believe i had noticeable withdrawals from caffeine..

I have incredibly severe WDs from caffeine, though I average about 4 grams a day now, compared to the average 300mg.
As with any drug, take it slow, don't just assume it'll be easy because it's legal and available.
