Do you get drug tested when getting a new doctor?

I came from a doctor that required labs twice a year in which I had blood drawn and drug tested (urine test). In about a month I am getting a new doctor. Are new patients required to have a drug test? Or do I just have to wait until I get my next lab done. (From what I understand, even with the new doctor, I will still have to do labs twice a year.)

Nobody here can really answer that for you as every doctor is diff. But i did when i got a new doc i got labs done and the urine test.. They might or might not they might just get ur labs and stuff from ur old doc. But you never know. If you have a history of drug abuse they def might.. Gonna have to wait n see i guess..
