Do You Filter?

I use cigarette filter or normal cotton as everybody else in my country. Micro filter???? First time i hear about it, what is it?? Someone tell me please.8)
 
I have never injected anything, but from what I've read, injecting pills w/o micron filtering is really dangerous (both short and long term).

I really don't know how safe it is to just use a cotton filter. My gut instinct is to say it's not safe at all, based on two things.

The tablets are chocked full of inactive ingredients; the corn starch itself will go through the filter.

And for two, the films look horrible when dissolving in water. I can't imagine IVing the films without a micron filter. The concoction looks so weird I don't know how to put it into words.

I'm not going to say I know it's bad for you, I don't... but I can't imagine it's good for you.
 
I Dont have films, iI have pills to taka sublingually, like in the photos but white.

just run a few extra units of water through the filter. saves fucking around like you are and gets every teeny drop out, guaranteed!
 
Yeah, an air purge is totally necessary when filtering a 1ml or less shot. It's better to make a vial (still doing an air purge to get the rest of your solution through the filter), so you have more than just one shot prepared. Just my experience.

Running some extra water also works wonderfully.
 
I usually use some cotton from a q-tip, ball it up and draw up from there. I only heard of micron filters recently here on bl. I'll probably find out where to get them in the near future now that I know. It never occured to me that anyone would NOT use any kind of filter at all. That's just how I was taught to do it. Then again, I live in southern california where all heroin is black tar. I don't think you could draw it up without clogging your outfit if you don't put something in between.
I was curious about something though and I don't want to start a whole thread for this question. This seems like a good place to ask. The other day I was with my connect and we were both doing a shot and he was out of q-tips or any other kind of cotton balls or whatever so, of course, we each grabbed a piece of a cigarette filter. As I was doing this I was thinking of micron filters vs q-tips vs whatever and I wondered if maybe cigarette filters might just be a step up from plain old cotton. They seem denser and they are in fact designed to filter out some of the crap in cigarettes, so wouldn't it make sense that they probably catch more impurities than a piece of a cotton swab? Obviously, micron filters would be best, but do you think cigarette filters rate higher than plain cotton? Just curious.
 
I just cut the tip off a cigarette filter and stick it on the end of my needle. Where could I buy micron filters?
