Do you ever scare people with your drug knowledge?

I scared a very knowledgable head this evening by trying to explain what napthylisopropylamine is and why I want to get some. He heard something about naptha and immediatly said no. I wish people would listen; he loves speed and would probably enjoy it.

People tend to appreciate my drug knowledge because Im usually trying to help them in one way or another.
It's when I go to the doctor that I have to watch my mouth so I don't start saying "Why give me this when you could just give me that and I wouldn't have to worry about these interactions....." and so on. Lotsa doctors don't like it at all if you question them and offer alternatives. Not all of course.

only person I ever "scared" was my mom. everyone else just looks at you like some kinda freak for knowing this shit.

like they dont mind taking ecstasy or acid at all when they thought that it put holes in your brain or if you took it more than 7 times you are legally insane. but if you tell them that the shit they've heard is wrong they will fuckin defend it or something? I think they do it because it takes away the "dangerous" factor of drug use that they feel if you explain that the shit isn't all that dangerous at all.

I dont really *know* too much about drugs, compared to the average bluelighter, anyhow...

But I disturb my best friends from way back with my absurd obsession/interest in drugs (esp psychedelics)
Most of them with good reason, they don't know my habits too well.

My friend still thinks that LSD burns holes in the brain because his brother had a brainscan for someshit and the doctor asked him if he'd done acid before. He said yes, the Dr. asked how many times, he said 5 and the Dr showed him 5 blackspots from where the acid had burnt his brain away. 8(

I still laugh at him and tell him/show him the truth, yet he still beleives it.

So no. I don't scare my friends with drug knowledge. They scare me with theirs.

yea, sadly i am that guy. the one who will dispell a drug myth at the drop of a hat. like heroin in X, acid putting holes in your brain ect...

my parents thinks im mad for knowing all this, but it has come in handy for me an others.

So true...I don't know how people can get into drugs without knowing a god-damned bit about the shit their getting high on. It really does scare me...especially when I realize many of those kinds of people are the ones who sell/cook the meth I'm taking out of the bag and putting straight into my veins.

I always love the people that start talking about how meth has battery acid, draino, and all sorts of toxic solvents in it...as if the cook throws in a few mL of each solvent used after the batch is dried bagged up...wtf?

At prom the other night, one of my drunken friends stumbled over to me and said "ughh...my stomach really hurts, and I have a headache. I'm going to go pop 3 or 4 tylenol"

I then proceded to tell her about APAP and how tylenol can really stress and already damaged liver from alcohol...she passed out somewhere in the middle of my lecture =D Problem solved
