Do you ever scare people with your drug knowledge?

That is me. I don't even know that much (mostly just opiates and benzos) and it definitely arouses suspicion. It's hard to bite my tongue sometimes, especially when someone makes a comment about Klonopin being a painkiller or Vicodin being a "hardcore" painkiller. I think I may have given the impression that I'm a druggie in one of my classes last semester, but I guess that's true anyway. C'est la vie.

yeah I do. Most of my friends come to me before just about anyone else when they want to know something. I'm not trying to brag and I don't actually know that much compared to some of you guys, but among my friends I'm definately the most knowledgable. I'm just kinda shocked at how many people are willing to put shit into their bodies without even knowing what it is. Just an example, I ate 2 grams of mushrooms last night with a few people and when I was talking to my friends, I mentioned the word psilocybin. Everybody looked at me like I was speaking chinese of something. It wasn't worth it to go into crazy detail about it, especially since everybody was tripping, but I gave them a brief description. They were kind of amazed, maybe it was the shrooms, but it's not as though this is some shit only a fuckin genious would know8( . If only some people were willing to spend a little time on the internet they'd feel much better about the drugs they take.;)

if you guys know that much you guys should work in the medical industry and put your knowledge to good use. even if you don't end up as a chemist or neurologist you can still be useful as pharmacy technicians, phlebotomists, RNs, EMTs, etc...

Yea everytime I talk about drugs I end up looking like a crackhead comes with the territory I guess. The real thing that pisses me off is when people start talking about shit putting holes in your brain I mean wtf thats such bullshit yet 9/10 people I know quote it as truth wtf?

I personally find that it's not the theoretical knowledge that freaks them out, but it's when I start relating first-hand reports of drugs that gets to people.

This is actually a funny topic because around all my friends im known as the 'drug doctor' it seems. Whenever it came to a specific drug i always seemed to do alot of research on it before i took it and now its more of just a hobby with learning about drugs.

Even when im introduced to new people who are drug users my friends will usually state that if they have any questions about drugs to come talk to me.

I guess sometimes this can be good and sometimes it can be bad...

Yeah, I'm known as the fact boy within my group

I supply them with exotic drugs like 2C-T-21, AMT,etc.. so they aren't complaining.
scares me that they are willing to blindly ingest something that they've never even heard of before.

careful about supplying to friends - if they do infact fuckout etc the first thing their parents will ask is where/what did they get it from...then your the one in shit.

from experience :(

^ excluding adverse reaction that is not a possibility :)

I weigh out all the doses. I have the Benzos/GBL ready for a bad trip. no worries :)

Haha, yes, always my mother.

(Shes a pharmacist)

When ill accidently spill something out about some random pharm drug.

Mum: "*SHOCK* HAYLEY, HOW THE HELL DO YOU ABOUT STILNOX ... HMMMMMMMMM???? *glare*"

Hahaha.

I am the authority among my group of friends, and am glad to be. I don't want to see anyone do anything stupid and hurt themselves. My friends and even acquaintances that I don't know too well are welcome to call me up and ask me about a drug or a combination. It happens every day, all day. But if I can keep someone from making a fatal mistake, then that makes my day. Everyone looks at me like I'm completely drug obsessed. I am, to a certain extent. I've spent a lot of my time making sure my friends and I are always safe when using. Some people, though, it totally blows their minds what I know.

This is true...they start to act awkward when you're speaking about theoretical knowledge, and then when begin speaking of an OD experience or something they just go quiet.

Never really thought about it, but yeah, that's when people's eyes really widen. When I tell them, yeah, I couldn't go to work cuz I took 33 bars and 200mg hydrocodone.

I find the my non-user friends freak out the most when im talking about a lot of the new studies and news stories about drugs. Like they still have their messed up beliefs about a lot of things and it scares them when I can actually present tons of medical studies and scientific proof that they are wrong.

the ones i cant help correcting are nitrous kills "like a milion brain cells"
menthol cigaretts are all fiberglass and are 1000x times worse for you than normal cigaretts
and DXM is not a "real" drug

drug knowledge can really be alienating thats whle BL is so good, most people dont really want to know. my girlfriend always gets pissed when i try to help her avoid getting addicted to benzos, or explaine to her various dangerous drug interactions.

also when ever i mention doing heroine to my friends (who would not blink an eyelash doing oxy) they get so serious, like i just told them i cut myself or soemthing, and ive only done it once, its the stigmas that really get me thats the worst part of the ignorance. but informing people why certain drugs are not THAT bad just makes you look like more of an addict especially with drugs like heroine.

Very true. Like recently this guy sold a dude I know an OxyContin and this one guy said "dude, that's pure heroin in that pill." I was very snappy with him and was like it's oxycodone and he just didn't understand, no one did. I tried to explain that heroin is like a brand name for a drug name diacetylmorphine, and they were like, "no, man, that's heroin in oxycontin." I just shut the fuck up after that.
