I've always thought this type of thing is bullshit.

My town has a public "Police Blotter" posted online every week for free. The worst part about it is they post your info when you are arrested but never bother to follow up and write about whether or not your were convicted. I was falsely arrested at 18 years old for pot, got off in court, and even though I was never convicted it's still the first thing that comes up when you search my name on Google.

I have actually been told by potential employers that it is the reason I didn't get the job/interview. Such a bullshit, unfair, sensationalist, thing for a "newspaper" to do..

They had a mag like this back home in Carolina . It was pretty interesting. You would see people you know, laugh at some of the more interesting pictures, and if you know your dealer or buddy got busted you knew to stay away. I read it to know who to avoid for the most part.
