Do you believe in "super powers after DMT"?

Im not sure if I have too much to add to what has already been discussed but I am in the camp of belief of rational super-sensory expansions brought about in individuals who use DMT/ayahuasca correctly.

The "superpowers" are brought about by how you take the message of the experience into your everyday life interactions. if one can keep in mind these messages, better yet make them part of who you are, I can see one (and have myself) become more in tune with others emotions, become more joyful and consistently positive no matter the situation, becoming in tune with your purpose in life, contact and interactions with spirits/aliens/guides whathaveyou, experiencing synchronicity in life events and big decisions also with other people.

I also believe that the DMT experience is akin to mystical spiritual experiences and can activate chakras in the body either temporarily or open up the chakra more permanantly. Activation of these chakras are associated with certain "psychic" powers in the hindu/vedic religions. I believe these may be entirely possible but have been exaggerated.

oh you mean embracing what youre feeling and taking that experience and having a better/superhuman almost outlook on life due to that experience? again man DMT is a drug, your experiences are subjective. Doesn't make it true to the rest of reality. It's you're reality. Don't take it all too seriously man. IDK I have done DMT alot and my favourite other psychedelic is synthesized mescaline.

My rheumatoid arthritis went away for a week the first time I smoked DMT, but I never was able to recreate that effect.

No, I mean actual changes in your life. I'm not talking about anything spiritual or anything like that. As I said above:

I'm talking about possible physical things, such as perhaps enhanced vision or figuring out even more control of certain aspects of you body. Not like spiritual powers.

Please read and just stop posting whatever you think we're talking about......

This thread is absurd. DMT is a simple tryptamine, all be it a very powerful one, but it offers nothing beyond saturating your receptors and giving the user the feeling like they experienced something "beyond". But in reality you were just high on psychs. This is all coming from someone who has both extracted / smoked dmt more times than I care to count. Saying dmt gives you heightened physical abilities is like saying swimming will turn you into a fish.
peace

This man speaks the truth. Although more than one time in our mind we like to entertain that other-worldliness..

If anyone knows about those matters it's definitely you Roger, presumably you are or were a town mouse in this or another life?

And a warm hello from rainy England :) <3

Actually I was a mouse that resided in a wizard's pocket. %)

And a warm hello back to you, B9. :) <3 I'll use my DMT superpowers to beam you guys some sunshine, so break out the tanning spray. :D

I wouldn't call it simple at all. I never got the feeling that I experienced something "beyond" as you call it. I never had any startling revelations. All of these aforementioned physical changes occurred (well, were realized) long after the smoking of the deems.

Sounds like some horrible, egotistical God Complex to me. Hate to break it to ya but DMT won't give anyone super powers. It's just a drug :/ sorry
hahha ha ha , i think you just havnt had enough.
true, it wont make you into a superhuman, but you will get super-perception through a full blown hit, but dmt isnt "just a drug". it when taken in proper doses is a genuine shamanic, and goes beyond "getting nutted". needless to say DO NOT TAKE FULL STRENGTH HITS OF DMT TO GET NUTTED. u will probably end up panicking etc.

YOU DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH! am guessing you had some sprinkled into a spliff? to make a simple spilff more beefy 25mg of dmt is pleasant and giggly. but up to 50mg cut into 3 and with someone to hold pipe for you, as by the 2nd hit it'll be too dificult for you to do it yourself, in a proper freebase pipe (the "right way" to do it).
well, simple is a bad way to describe it as the "expert" above goes on like, but superhuman powers is a dumb way to look at it too.
the mechanical description given above is totally true, but to those who dont take it too often these "saturated" experiences are very rewarding. especially the seemingly alien entity communications (so it seems) and weird seen and unseen being communications (or so they seem).

oh, i better get going, got a load of prayers coming through, better go answer them.......

I smoked 120 mg. I knew that I could have had an out of body experience but I fought it because I thought I would go crazy forever. And superhuman powers is kind of general, like anything outside of the normal realm of abilities would be considered "super", no? It doesn't seem hard to grasp the idea of enhanced physical traits after a psychedelic experience. You think differently, and as such, you can apply that thought to how you use your body.

I think he means, its a "simple tryptamine" in that it is the tryptamine molecule with two CH3 groups (Simplest hydrocarbon) individually added at the Nitrogen position (hence, N,N-Dimethyl). And to the people posting directly above, DMT is one of the most variable psychedelics I have known. Or I should say, psychedelics are the most variable drugs I have known. I have had many "fun times" sprinkling it in joints or even taken 30-40mg bong rips of it (some was definitely destroyed with the heat of a lighter).

There definitely is some "tipping point" with the dosage however, and it depends on your brain chemistry at the time and how it ties into the setting (sense of security, identity, whatever) that once you go over it.. I believe the term is "flabbergasted" or "bewilderingly unbelievable". If you have a nice headstash of it, however, you can flabbergast yourself a few dozen times until you realize "Hey its been 10 minutes and I'm back to my normal pothead status rolling a spliff, and now I'm the one watching my friend nod off into deep space from "puffing on some White Elf" as we like to call it.

So as one's chest begins to grow some hair on it truely epic doses have been reached, and I find that once I stopped worrying I was going to go insane/do something very innappropriate while on it (although I did once take off my pants in sheer confusion when a friend I hadn't seen in years walked into the room after I had just nonchalantly taken a fat rip, we still laugh about this one...) I could really have fun with the substance. It is very unique one and I enjoy it very much because of the lack of side effects (exhaustion, nausea etc) and also because it lasts so short there is no tolerance unless you smoke some like directly after youre back in reality, and even then it's possible to get back to the "same spot" taking more but not get blown away like that first rip. But yeah guys super powers please, it's all just good times, in the end from what I have gathered it for a short time reconfigure the way the neural pathways in your brain and shit function, so yes, you can learn new things about yourself, and learn (or .. relearn?) exactly how much control you have over your physical body, your thoughts and the reality that surrounds you.

If feeling effervescent love as a citizen of the universe is a super power then yes.

Wouldn't using this learned control over your body possibly lead to some things such as superhuman strength or dexterity? Think about the normal human constraints of strength or balance or something like that. Now step three feet outside those constraints. Now you are superhuman. Follow me?

Well next time your on DMT , play card guessing game with someone,

Let the other person look at the number and think of it in their head.
And see if you can guess what they are thinking lol

I think we gain extra perceptions after taking a large dose of any psychedelic, not just DMT. I understand the belief that DMT is produced in our brains so many think it is one of a kind, but I feel that LSD has shown me a great many things. Getting into detail about some of my extra sensory perceptions would result in people telling me I've lost it completely in my real life so I keep them to myself. It is not so much super powers as it is being able to use parts of your brain previously unavailable.
