do u loose the active metabolites when u take valium sublingually?

I only take benzos a few times a month but even if i take 100mg of diazepam i can barely feel anything.
I think i must have digestive problems or something because it's the same with any pill.
I just chewed 80mg of oxycontin & dont feel alot even though i only take them a few times a month & only have a tolerance to codeine.

anyways. i may be one of those ppl that lacks the enzyme in my liver to break it down or whatever. c450 or whatever it's called. i dont really know what im talking about here.

anyways im just wondering if taking the my valiums sublingually may work better but i was wondering about whether it wouldnt be as strong because it may loose the active metabloties temazepam & nordiazepam.

Drugs will be metabolised by the liver whether you take them sublingually, orally, IVd, etc., as the liver is supplied directly from blood, not from intestines or digestive tract.

Getting high on valium is very hit and miss though. If you take a huge dose chasing a buzz, you're likely never gonna catch it and instead black out or something. Save benzos for combos, comedowns, they are much more functional type drugs than recreational.

80mg is a huge dose of oxy though.. perhaps someone more knowledgeable can confirm this, but I THINK oxycodone itself is active, not its metabolites, so it shouldn't be a problem with being enzyme deficient.

How much codeine were you using? It could be just be tolerance.

I drink 400mg of codeine sometimes a few times a week. it actually works well. I get all the same amount of water i start with when i finish so i must be getting most of it.
ive had a bit of h a few times & didnt get as high as when i had codeine for the first time in over a year. i did a whole pack of panadeine forte (600mg codeine) & was pretty relaxed.

benzo tolerance must last forever because ive been months without taking any & the tolerance still stay.
I remember getting high on just 35mg of valium one of the first times i tried it.
when i first tried xanax 2 pills knocked me out but they were the 2mg ones. I could now take 8mg of xanax if i wanted & id probably wanna go for a walk even though i havnt had xanax for over a year
