Do u like presription opiates or benzos better?

Ive had my fair share of opiates & benzos certainly know how they effect me. Havnt used needles before though otherwise i might like opiates better but i think i actually prefer benzos.
Im sure IV heroin would be better than any benzo though.
but for this threads sake i only wanna talk about prescription tablets.
oxys, morphine, hydros etc. VS valium, xanax, temaze etc.

I've had 35mg of oxy tonight & 400mg of codeine. I think I would actually prefer to have 120mg Valium.
Ive actually had 90mg of temazepam to but that was earlier today. It had very little effect. Ive always had a tolerance to benzos. like a natural tolerance. same with opiates.

I find opiates to be effective for depression but not so much for anxiety & since Im more the restless/anxious kind of person I actually find benzos to help me feel more the way i want beleive it or not.
I had 4 40mg oxycontins a few weeks back. that was a bad idea. i got pretty high but had to throw up a few times. clearly i took to much for someone who hasnt had much experience with them.
I think I would have rathered took a few to many valiums. Wouldnt have made me so sick.

what do u guys think?
I'd atleast prefer a large supply of valium over oxycodone but it's a very close call.
I think it's because Ive actully been diagnosed with anxiety.
I still love to drink cwe. but I find benzos to be the most dynamic drugs if u know what i mean. the kind which helps me feel like I can function well & feel normal. no stomach upsets & nausia like with opiates & just having confidence & a carefree releif from worries.

I definitely can relate with having anxiety issues and wanting the care free-ness of benzos, but even with that problem, I will skip out on my k pins so I don't get tired if I'm taking oxy, morphs, or even hydros. Opiates alll the way for me sir
 
Ive tried Xanax, Ativan & Valium & dont like none of them for recreational purposes so I would easily choose prescription opiates by a landslide.
 
Depends what you're trying to achieve. If I could have a free stockpile of any of those, I'd choose valium. I find it very recreational (some don't), and it has a wide variety of practical uses. Sleep; anti-anxiety; a good potentiator for other drugs; and good for mitigating a bad trip.

I know exactly what you mean. I feel comfortable in my own skin, happy and sane. I was also diagnosed with anxiety. I definitely prefer benzos over opiates. Without a doubt I'd pick a large supply of xanax over ANY other prescription opiate. Prescription opiates make me feel extremely irritable and bitchy. I can't stand loud noises, things not working on the first try, and most of all stupid people. I cringe and want to rip peoples faces off lol. But, I still take them 8(
 
Benzos.... but really, I like to have both, so I've got 2 options for downers, so I can get high on a downer more often without building my tolerance like I would if I was always using one or the other.
 
I found an endone in my wallet haha. thats a 5mg instant oxy for anyone who didnt know. I didnt know I had it. will go well with my codeine cwe.
yeah I know opiates have that mood lift factor but I can just function stress free on benzos. & I can never seem to OD on valium no matter how much i take. If i take to many opiates I'll wanna throw up & be left with a mild hangover th next day

Edit: So im feelin a bit better now 400mg codeine, 5mg oxycodone.
but I still have my usual stresses.
when im on benzos i dont give a fuck literally. even though it doesnt have the nice pleasent mood lift opiates have. benzos can make me see life in a position that i can work through my problems better from.

the common misconseption is benzos are similar to alcohol. the only thing they share is that they are both downers.
alcohol is an escape from reality drug I an actually see things clearer while on benzos.
When i was younger I enjoyed drinking but now that ive discovered better drugs with less side effects I don't drink anymore.

Benzos for sure. I'm prone to anxiety so anything that completely alleviates that is like a miracle to me. Whenever I take opiates in large enough quantities to induce euphoria, I'm guaranteed to get sick.
 
I used to love benzos more but after 11 years of abusing them (a few of those years very heavily) they mostly just fuck with my emotions now and thus I prefer opioids.
 
Opiates actually have euphoria associated with them. You can have euphoria on benzos as well, but it's more brought about by your environment/mood.

Definitely would go with valium if I could choose between the two though(Benzos v. Opiates). Benzos are more practical in my opinion.

BUT if I was going to be trapped in my house for a year, then I'd take a year supply of (r)Oxy :)
 
I need both - I am prescribed both. Without benzos I wouldn't find relief from any panic attack or general anxiety - I would also not be able to sleep (at least, not for a long long time). However, I have an extreme addiction to opiates, therefore I would CHOOSE opiates over benzos if (god forbid) I had to choose between one or the other. Opiates relieve my morning shits, my sweating (hot/cold..ness), my irritability, my sore joints... my lack of sleep (at least partially + benzos), and so much more.

Opiates help me live through each day. Each day is bearable, or 'more' bearable, with opiates. Then, they are also closer to hell (with opiates).

As terrifying as it is to fathom, I'd kill to say 'neither', both are the devil. Then, I can't... 'opiates' hands down. Oxycodone IR's please... and Hydromorphone for the occasional 'spicing up of my day'.
