Do u have a good job and still use? Is it worth it?

I have a good job and yet I still use just not like I used to. The hardest part now is coppin it. The risk involved could cost me my job if I got caught. Wondering if it's worth it @ all anymore, it just feels so good. Even if it is just for a little while ;)

Depends on what your DOC and job happen to be. As long as there is no risk of getting tested for work, and as long as you're always dead sober at work, then I'd say that it's nobody's business. Many would disagree though.

Personally, I don't generally take anything illicit. More because I don't have reliable sources than any other reason. But my DOC could easily take hold of me if I could get it, so I think that it's a pretty good thing that it's unavailable to me. If I started using again, and if my coworkers found out about it, I might have some serious explaining to do if I wanted to keep my job. As a chemist, any connection to drugs is seen as a potential ethical conflict, and I could risk losing my professional title and certification.

What do you use? I'm a meth addict (plus I've got some mental health issues) and I've never been able to hold down a proper job. So I had to fund my habit other ways. But if you've got a good job and can maintain it while using, more power to you. :)

I'm an heroin or oxycontin user. I have been able to balance my habit so far but there have been times over the last 10 yrs where I have gotten out of hand. Luckily my work has never found out. I could also lose my job. I work for major company that does not tolerate any drug use. I also haven't had the opportunity to get too out of hand due to the availibility. not that I couldn't find it, but doing it safely is key.
