Would the same people you can get coke and weed and crystal from sell heroin? I'd be hesitant to ask around as it's something a lot of users frown upon, and I'm not sure if it takes a whole different type of person altogether to deal it, so what has been your experience?

well, a lot of people that deal H also deal other stuff- so it's probably worth asking...

yea sometimes they do...but mostly no... well at least in my town its hard to get H ... mostly ppl who deal H and other stuff are very connected

It can't hurt to ask. If anything you can say it's for a friend.
In my experiences, however, I was always offered heroin rather than ever needing to ask around for it. I had a reputation for being a psychotic hardcore drug user, though, so people offered me anything they had if they knew me.
If you're in America, it's fairly uncommon unless you're near or in a large city. It just doesn't make it's way to most suburbs except in really tight circles. Like you said, most people frown upon it, so it's usually kept fairly quiet among a small group of people.
The people you may want to try asking over anyone else, though, would be Oxycontin heads.

For some reason (read: people are ignorant fools!) you see a lot of dealers that will sell all kinds of shit - except heroin... this is especially true if you're dealing in "the rave scene" - heroin is seen as an "evil drug" so while dealers have no problem selling ecstasy, cocaine, methamphetamine, lsd, etc.. - they won't sell smack ...
It's a unique drug as it has it's own tight circles - you might be surprised to learn which of your friends use... but once yer in, then it becaomes easy to find..

Most of the people I get my usual stuff from (weed, meth, coke, etc.) don't bother with it but odds are they have a friend of a friend who does.
This holds especially true here in the suburbs, so rather than find that friend of a friend I usually just make the drive to the city for some tar. Its awkward at first (white guy going for a stroll in the projects) but use common snce and its not to hard to score.

It's just a tough drug to find if you're not already apart of "the scene" .. if you're thing is rolling on ecstasy or tripping on acid, you wont have an easy time finding heroin since most heroin users and dealers don't use those "lighter drugs" .. the key is to keep in touch with the delaer that is able to get you what you want...
