idk he's knows just enough to be dangerous and is using walter white as evidence. walter white is the same guy that robbed a train and killed a kid for METHYLAMINE, one of the easiest to synth chemicals out there.

Yes methylamine is a simple compound to produce synth-wise but in not sure id like to produce it without lab grade equipment.
Formalderhyde, acetamide, bromine gas etc are all harmful chemicals and in some cases are potent carcinogens...not shit id liketo produce in a basement lab.

walter white doesn't know his shit tho. sure he respects the chemistry, but he was treating methylamine like it was the holy grail. And I know todd was the one who shot that kid with the spider, but surely walt could have handled synthing a couple thousand gallons of methylamine, if he could produce 200 elbows of gofast on the weekly. I'm only bringing this up because I want to illustrate that walter white isn't exactly the gold standard.

but curiously enough, walt and Jessie did originally make red and black dope, and that's what got them in with tuco in the first place. Remember how fire tuco thought that shit was. Yep, that's red and black for ya.

It seems that many large scale operations have been switching back to P2P and similar synths as pseudoephedrine becomes less common, I figured by "old school" you meant the 70-80's type "crank" but it seems you're talking about the crystal explosion that occurred sometime after 2000

Also, p2p meth isn't the same as reduced ephedrine meth, which is what r and b refers too. Everyone I've talked to about p2p calls it peanut butter dope or bathtub crank, because it was less pure.

There's more than one method that uses P2P, pretty sure they all have the same end result (racemic methamphetamine) while pseudo/ephedrine synths would produce D-meth

it's not that pseudo is less common, it's that it's more expensive.

and i'm sure that the fact that p2p and phenylacetone synthesis produces raceimic meth is a part of it, but they will go you one even further and say that phosphorus and iodine reduced ephedrine is going to be even way better than ammonia/lithium reduced ephedrine.

They dye the meth light green or purple here when they sell it to children, but never pink and orange! It's all circus clowns, and it's a regional thing. They give out free samples at the elementary schools in little grab bags with finger puppets and matchbox cars.

I guess the dealer's see it as a low risk/high reward proposition, because everyone knows how much money children have, it's a side of the market that the dealers just can't ignore!

it's not as straight forward as getting money from the kids. you put them on, and you can use them as dope mules, pseudo smurfs, you name it. It's kind of like how pepsi and coke sell two liters at a loss too and make up for it on 12 and 20 oz sales. I would be perfectly fine loosing money on a young persons habit as long as I knew that they would grow up to be lifelong loyal business partners, loyal to the dope I sell making me profits for decades. It really offsets the start up costs quick, even if I'm dropping good loot on food coloring, wtf, why are we even talking about this? I was talking about red phosphorous and black iodine.
