On July 19th I was issued a script for Vicodin, because I had a little bit of surgery on my gums. I didn't get it filled though because It's not covered by my insurance and I didn't have the money to pay for it. Since it's been almost a month already can I still get the perscription filled? I can't even fix the date because the script was typed up. Should I try getting it filled anyway? Will the pahrmacist not give it to me, and will he call my oral surgeon?

Yep, it is still good. Even if the pharmacist did call your oral surgeon (which probably won't happen but is a possibility), what's the worst that can happen? The prescription is in YOUR name, it is not even a month old, and it was written to you in all legality. There is no way you could get in trouble; you have nothing to lose.
Go fill that script!

I'm pretty sure they are good for a year or something like that! I used to have to wait to fill perscriptions for months when I had no insurance!
