do ppl really snort subutex?

I just snorted 16mg (Im assuming they're 8mg pills but my mate might be referring 0.8mg pills) of subuetex & it's burning really badly. it's also making my throat burn really badly. very uncomfortable. it must do damage to ya nose. My eyes are almost watering. I hope this burn goes away.
I just found the BA on wikipedia
40-50% (sublingual, from ethanolic solution) 35-40% (sublingual, high-dose tablet) ~50% (transdermal) ~50-60% (intranasal). Found this a little to late Id heard the BA changed from 1/3 sublingual to 2/3 snorting

so really snorting only gives ya an extra 10%. It's not worth it for the discomfort of the burning. Well I think its starting to settle down atleast but i wont be snorting it again.

Am I the only one here stupid enough to snort subutex?

edit: well its been 10 mins & the burning has 90% stopped but i still dont think its worth it. anyways im starting to feel something. maybe placeo. wonder what the onset duration & pack is while snorting??

intranasal is like 50% with buprenorphine. Many people snort it, it's not necessarily stupid either, although the better option would be rectal.

isnt the onset of sublingual 1-2hrs sub lingual. thats a long time.. that might mean it takes 2 hrs to feeling anything. the peak is suppose to last 1-4 hrs. I only got this from one source.
anyone know how long the onset takes with snorting? I think i already feel something.
anyways, anyone know how long the peal last when snorting?
i didnt think i was going to get these pills to try tonight. Id already taken 100mg of phenergan which is a high dose. 75mg is the max dose recommended. last night I took the same &n i went to sleep straight away. (I shouldnt OD on otc sleeping tablets I know) but im actually used to taking seroquel for sleeping. so im used to have a strong effect.
will the promethazine potentiate at subutex?
I tried doxylamine the other night & it gave me a light headed drowsy feeling. not as good as high dose temazepam but better than I expected. the promethazine is given me a heavy head kind of feeling. oh well it is also technically an antipsychotic according to wikipedia.
The subs dont feel like ya traditional codeine, morphine, oxy etc.
its effects seems like a more mellow version of tramadol. tramadol gave me energy this isnt giving me any energy though.
im just thinking. i'll read it up but im wondering if it works on ya serotonin levels like tramadol because it feels like that more than any other opiate ive tried.
anyways ive had or either 3.2mg 6mg as Im not sure if the guy who gave them to me meant 8mg or 0.8mg. He didnt say 8mg. but u know ppl call the strength of a cigarette 8mg when its actually 0.8mg

Would I be wasting the bupe i have left over which i could leave till tomorrow but snorting another 4mg (for a total of 20mg)
I think i remember pp saying that as u increase the dose the actual effect raises slower & slower the higher u go.
in other words 16mg isnt twice as strong as 8mg & there is even a snaller increase if effects ifrom 16mg-32mg.

so would it be a waste to take another 4mg now to get a slightly extra effect or for another time to get a better effect out of it?
I know u ppl say that's a high dose im feling only getting a subtle effects so im hoping taking more well be a little tolerance

btw ive heard subs are really hard to quit. I used tramadol for 4.5 months (100mg-400mg) but usally 150mg-200mg because to little had no effect & to much was to stimulating. I dont find the effects al that strong but they're ok. i thin the peak of codeine feels better but that only lasts a few mins. then it's pretty weak. This dug seems like it would last 4x longer than codeine.
anyways is bupe more addictive than tramadol because I quit that easily even though some ppl say they get brain zaps & all that. I just tapered for a 2 weeks. I cheated a bit though by taking valium.
