Opioids Do opioids lessen the pain of being cold

Wing cold isn’t a pain in the sense that chronic pain or acute traumatic pain is….but if you’ve ever been stuck outside freezing in the cold for hours it’s definitely its own type of torture - do opioids (small moderate dosage) lessen the coldness …or would they make it worse?
 
Yeah they increase tolerance to the cold.

Seems to do the opposite though with regard to tolerability of hot temperatures

That’s really odd that it makes heat temps more painful.

Maybe theres more at work that pure analgesia of anything thy at feels bad but they are regulating body temp or circulation in certain ways, are they?

Anecdotal but I don’t find heat to be as “painful”as cold
