Do marijuana pills work?

Pfff I make man made Marijuana all the time- you just mix 3 parts sugar, 1 part flower, some garlic powder and a few eggs- put it in the oven at 400 for an hour and voila- big old buds of pot.

Marinol sucks.

If you got huge ass capsules and cooked up some extremely potent canna-oil, it seems very plausible. If you use an OZ of mids for a 1/4th cup of oil, and somehow fill 60+ pills up with the oil, you'd only have to pop like.... oh... 10 or so?

I've never tried "marinol" or however you spell it - that seems like the most common one.

1mg pills. This was back in highschool - and I have no fucking CLUE how we got our hands on them. But let me say this. I took 5 at one time, and was high for a whole day.

I took 10 at one time - was high all day. Went to sleep, and woke up higher than I was the day before. 3rd day was a massive burn out.

Call bullshit if you want, I could care less. But I have never been that high ever again. That was a rare experience.

- also, this was in grade 10. I started blazing 1/2 way through grade 9. My tolerance was low as fuck. So I was still pretty sensitive to anything related to weed.

My friend went through chemo and got some Cesamet (non-generic Nabilone). They work, but they are still synthetic. I believe it is 3% binder and 97% synthetic THC. It's also much less psychoactive in nature (I consider this a draw back).

I can't believe you got your hands on those.... Maybe it is different in Canada, but they are almost legend around here. I'm not sure that 10 would keep you high for 2 days, but I believe it would get you massively ripped for 6-10 hours and a steep crash for 12 more. The half life is around 3-4 hours, which is extremely interesting to me.

Those fucking pills cost upwards 60$ I thought.... The hardest part of believing what you are saying is that you got over ten of these puppies. Lucky you! They are active at dosages as low as .5mg and have noticeable "euphoria-like" effects at around 2-3mg.

I took 10 twice. took 5 once. took 7 another time. my boys took the rest.

And what was even funnier - when we took them at school. We used to have a 2 hour class. We popped them b4 we went in (we were all in same class), and never left the class once. After the 2 hours we looked SO FUCKING BAKED. Eyes were like BLEEDING. The teacher didn't know what to say. She gave us the look like "i can tell you're stoned out of your mind, but I have no idea how you did it without leaving the class, and i know you weren't high when you came in" ahahahhaha

The most common ones are called Marinol, its actually synthetic THC and lots of people who use them say they are no where near as effective as smoking. I've heard people taking upwards of 7-8 pills to get the same high as one bowl of dank.

However clinics sell encapsulated hash oil that is supposed to be a lot better then Marinol.

This is all from what I've read, no personal experience with them.

There's a lot of factors involved here. For starters, oral bioavailabilty of THC is only roughly 10-20%. This is of course taking into consideration the sesami oil the THC is suspended in and the rather enxtensive first pass hepatic metabolism involved with oral administration. Peak plasma concentrations are reached at about T+2-4 hrs, which is much different than smoking(T+3-10 min.).
Second, the effects one would get from pure THC are much different from the effects one would get from smoking dried cannabis buds. Several compounds found in cannabis(both cannabinoid and non-cannabinoid) modulate or potentiate the effects of THC, while not showing any real activity of their own. CBD and CBN are perhaps the best known examples.

No experience with sythetic cannabinoids except a few aminoalkylindoles myself either, so I've never tried marinol.

Damn right bro now that im more knowledgeable about drugs I wish I woulda saved at LEAST one. Just for nostalgia sake. But those days are long gone now. I highly doubt those capsules will ever grace my hand again..sadly lol

If you're talking about canna-caps then yes they definitely work. They are capsules filled with oil (or plant matter mixed with oil) that contains thc that was extracted out of nug.

That's most likely what it is if you're getting em from a clinic.
