Ok my first time posting so I hope I do this right. I know washing and recrystalizing is nessesary if you are worried about cut. But say I know for a fact that nothing extra is added should I still do the cleansing? Also this is in regards to s&b product

Normally these types of questions aren't allowed because of the details people need in order to have the answer however, this is perfectly vague enough for comfort so...

If you have anything made from inadequate materials or a crude product you must recrystalize it. A "single lot synthesis" means that your compound was born in a slurry of toxic compounds and metals that will contaminate the final product at least in some way. If you choose not to you have got to be poisoning yourself with some contamination just by nature of residual garbage on the product.

I could never ingest something like that without washing and recrystalizing, especially a RP/I reduction (assuming that's what they still use)

Ill start off by saying, if you're buying off the street, you never know there's nothing added. Generally, no matter what it is, coke heroin or meth, it's cut before it even leaves the hands of whoever manufactured it. Always assume your shit is cut, at least even just a little bit.

But as far as your question, szuko is correct. When manufacturing meth, it's not at all uncommon that the ingredients may not be properly measured, or some other mistake will taint the meth, making it dirty.

In either case, washing your shit is never a bad idea.
