Do drugs like MDAI/AMT/MDMA all give you restless legs?

I don't know if it is just me but all the drugs like the psychedelic's give you that odd feeling in your legs? With me they always feel really hot especially on the comedown and they get really restless. Even with the milder ones like Morning glory seeds, it never seems to happen with stimulants much, does anyone know why this is?

Not that much is known or proven about the mechanism of RLS, but it seems to have something to do with dopamine like possibly dopamine deficiency - it is also very possible the (or "a") cause can be local deficiency. In any case it's a brain thing and not a leg thing.

With dopaminergic stimulants (which is a lot of them) dopamine deficiency is unlikely and can pre-existing deficiency could even be temporarily relieved. When you crash though, deficiencies are more than conceivable. Stimulants cause hyperkinesis on the other hand, which is in ways similar to RLS in that you could say a lot of the movement is not that voluntary.

Serotonergic psychedelics can cause rubbery legs or I guess - RLS type symptoms but I couldn't really venture an explanation other than that there could be dopaminergic activity on the side and the different monoamine/catechol systems as well as others all indirectly influence each other.

Perhaps RLS is caused by dopamine deficiency in regions like the primary motor cortex, causing your body to send impulses to compensate for a lack of motor activity that is not even really there. Similarly I think that you can get RLS at the moment you go to sleep because a similar drop in activity triggers such compensation. No idea if I'm thinking in the right direction here though. :)

Yeah, the cure is called DANCING! Get your ass to a party and shake yo shit next time yer rollin/tripping.

I seem to get restless/odd body sensations on most psychedelics and stimulants. Dissociatives are not as bad, though DXM may be the exception. I usually take some sort of downer to relieve the symptoms. Even benadryl works well, though, you got to take in account the fatigue/drowsiness aspect of it. Weed is one of my favorites to chill the body out if opiates or benzos are not available.
