Do drug test labs test for metabolites?

So if I were going to a pain management clinic and got drug tested which was sent away to a lab would they test for the metabolites say for oxymorphone. I was wondering if I got synthetic urine and ground down some of my medicine and placed it in it and shake it up real good if that would work but then I realized maybe they test for metabolites and that would be a red flag could somebody please help me out. what I do for the in between time when I run out of medicine early is a take suboxone and from what I understand I would have to stop taking it 7 days prior at least and then take my medicine but its hard for me because I have a big habit so I wanted to get synthetic urine and just put the medicine in the urine to see if that would work. Once again somebody please help me out with this
 
Welcome to bluelight :)

We don't allow drug testing questions so I've gotta close this. I'm almost positive they do test for metabolites, most tests do at least.
