How do different ROA's of opioids effect different peak plasma concentrations in blood, urine, etc.?
For instance, obviously IV injection would cause greater concentrations of the drug in the blood over the short term, however how does this ROA effect concentrations in urine, hair follicles, etc? If a person were to take an opioid/opiate orally versus intravenously how does that affect testable concentrations in blood, urine, etc. Lesser? Greater? Etc.

NOTE: I am writing a paper for my Sociology class on "The Impact of Illicit Drugs & Drug Testing in the Workplace in Modern Society." This information is for research purposes for my paper.
Mods, I hope this question is okay under the BLUA as it's not about how to beat drug tests or how long you can test for a specific substance etc.
