Do any raves in Australia have pill testers?

You hear about some rave and music events in America that have pill testers on sight, and you pay to get your pill tested. Is there anything like this in Australia?
 
Especially at the moment, the state of Australia for pills is very dodgey.

MDxx is what you are after (MDA, MDEA, MDMA)
But many pills have things in them to fool test kits especially from the most common testers Mandelin/Marquis. This is why it is important to get all 5 test kits to have a much better idea of what is in the pills.

If you have a TRUSTED source I wouldn't worry as much, but I'd be very careful not to use different pills unless they have been tested first hand. When different things are put into pills it can be very dangerous if mixed with MDxx.

Most pills in Australia at the moment are Pipes (mostly BZP, a shitty substitue that can make you feel ill and nauseas) and there is alot of DMAA (dodgey legal shit, that people do go to hospital for, especially if you don't keep yourself hydrated)

Some also have 2C's research chemicals, most commonly 2C-B and 2C-I. These are less common then the other things stated but are also meant to be thoroughly enjoyable, but can be "trippy" and could throw you off if they're not what you are expecting.

I think there was a group once upon a time who did this, but they had to stop for some reason iirc.

These days it would just be a waste of time and money, all the pills out there are complete trash anyway.
 
Yeah it was only a few years ago. Right before I was aloud to hit the rave scene =(

But now testing someone elses pill can get you for possession. It's fucking ridiculous really.
 
^ Yeah it was a few years ago and was shut down because there was some controversy and I believe the people doing the testing were putting themselves at risk of possession seeing as they did not have permits for S9 substances.

Nah they're still around, just scarce. Besides isn't half the point of testing to check that it may not be mdxx and avoid purchasing?
 
It would be great if they did. Sad thing is these days even if you told some misinformed person their pill was adulterated they, would still ask for it back and still take it being that desperate for some sort of MDMA high.

We used to have it via Enlighten (HR group).

<name of event> has had its fair share of controversy, mainly because of the decision in 2003 to begin pill testing after suggestion from Dr Caldicott of the Royal Adelaide Hospital. It was a safety issue that the promoters felt strongly about. Other parties had pill testing and the police generally turned a blind eye to it, until 2004 when 'The Advertiser' had a slow news day and ran an 'expose' on the dangers of raves and drugs. The police then had to take an interest "but they were just doing their job, I guess" Michael points out democratically

That's really, really unfortunate. Australia needs to learn something when it comes to drugs. This kind of thing could save people's lives, especially considering the amount of drug-related deaths this country has.

How do the ingrediants in some pills fool the testers?
 
Enlighten used to do pill testing at oz raves years ago and post the results on their website. I think they were told they weren't aloud to do it anymore, does anyone here remember anything about this???
