Do amphs feel different to people with ADHD at recreational doses too?

I have ADHD and even at high (oral and snorted) doses, I never really feel "speedy". If I'm tired it makes me fully awake, but not hyper, more of a relaxed yet motivated euphoria.

2-FMA, d-amph, and ESPECIALLY 4-FA. I also take adderall but I've never went above the prescribed dose.

I just wish that desoxyn was available here for my ADD.

Even if you lived in the US like me you still probably wouldn't get desoxyn because, despite 5mg (only dose they come in) being about half the stregnth of one adderall IR 30mg (strongest available pill stim IIRC), everybody thinks of "methamphetamine" as that big bad drug that ruins lives and gets made in dark basements out of [insert scary sounding chemical names here].

I agree fully.
I said Desoxyn cause in my mind it is the closest thing to what has worked for me in the past.
I would love to give adderall a try, but as I said, methylphenidate is the only available drug here for ADD, infact it is classed as the most powerful stimulant that can be legally prescribed here......it's such a joke.

I've written Desoxyn before without any problems; recently, I initiated an adult male suffering from untreated, lifelong ADHD on #60 Desoxyn 5mg. BID.

Desoxyn causes fewer side effects than Adderall IR; therefore, it is a good introduction to amphetamine treatment. (sadly, it comes in such low doses, but I also find that patients on the Desoxyn do not ask for a dose increase for a significantly longer amount of time than patients starting on #60 Adderall IR 10mg. BID.)

Now to answer your question: I believe that the effects of amphetamines as felt normally will simply be amplified as you increased dosage. I do not buy into the theory that every ADHD sufferer has a paradoxical reaction to amphetamine -- honestly, some of the ADHD patients need the jolt.

It's not necessarily a paradoxical reaction (though ritalin can cause sedation in some cases i've heard), I still get "speedy" in the sense I'm 100% awake and in the mood for socializing and doing anything. I just feel relaxed as in an inner calm.

I don't have anything to compare it to, because I have ADD and so I don't truly know what it is feels like to take an amphetamines for a person who doesn't have ADD, but the effects I get from them are generally the same as other people say they feel when they take amps. It's a myth that people with ADD feel "normal" on amps or get paradoxical (reverse) effects. The main difference is that people with ADD using amps therapeutically often take doses much lower than the average recreational dose, and only take them orally (whereas recreationally people will often use other ROAs like snorting, smoking, injecting). Also someone who takes them every day will develop a tolerance so a given dose won't affect them as much as it would someone with no tolerance. Different people have different levels of sensitivity to amps, so it's not like everyone with ADD reacts to them in the same way (or everyone without ADD reacts to them in the same way).

Are you thinking that other people get hyperactive from amps and you don't or maybe most people with ADD don't? I don't know, I mean I don't like feel the compulsive need to go for a run or something, I just feel more motivated and energetic than usual. But I don't know if someone without ADD gets like uncontrollable hyperactivity either. the other thing is that a large portion of "recreational" users could be (even unknowingly) self-medicating for ADD or other mental disorders.

Ive been prescribed all kinds of stuff for adhd. Aderrall, vyvance, concerta, ritalin, and as far as recreational doses are concerned, anything above 60mgs of any of the above mentioned and my little 115 pound body is absolutely hating me. my mind though seems to become more calm and i easily stay on a sensible train of thought. hyperfocusing would start to kick in on 80mgs+ of vyvance. Vyvance is the one ive used and abused the most and i feel like its much cleaner on my body compared to the others mentioned.

as always tollerance.... I find after mdpv it takes a shit ton of "uppers" to have any real effect on me even then after mdpv nothing has ever come even close..
dam mdpv ruined my life..... AHHH what worse mdpv even upped my tolerance to other drugs because of the horrible horrible come down after weeks of use ....
Though im sure like everything maybe some people could take mdpv and just have fun? All comes back to tolerance.

I have ADHD and have used both methylphenidate IR and Concerta at recreational doses it. It yields a type of hyperfocus that is very annoying and the anxiety it gives is hellish. The come-down is horrible too. Abusing MPH is not an option for me unless I have a good dose of codeine to take when the high wears off after 1 hour (a benzo is an inferior solution as it cancels the positive effects of MPH).

I believe MPH is better used as a therapeutic agent, not a recreational one (dextroamphetamine is superior for recreational).
