The most effective method would be the direct e-mesh method if you look it up on the dmt nexus.
I used a yocan evolve plus atomizer with ceramic donut coils attatched to a box mod at 10-12 watts pressing my fire button first to melt the dmt before holding down and trying to inhale each hit.
My DMT was not the purest stuff on the planet. It requires practice you will go through a gram or more before getting your techniques down.
You can also dissolve DMT in vape juice and try that way.
Bong sandwhich method is still good aswell.

Honestly I’ve tried every method you can imagine, from the Yocan Evolve to GVG. A one hitter sandwiched between a little weed is my go to, and seems to be highly efficient.
If you get an acrid nasty taste when you take the hit, you’re burning it.
If you use something like the Yocan, get a base layer of cannabis oil in there first or it will burn the DMT.
This is why people get stronger effects with orange waxy DMT, the plant oils help protect and improve vaporization.
