Dmt solvent loss to high

When trying to separate the black Gunk from the dmt filled Solvent I lose a 60% solvent every time. I have used side ways bugs, but the dmt gunk is to to gunky, so I cut a bigger hole, losing my control and bam, lost some. the other losses from this method are the triple pull to make sure there isn't any sodium hydroxide in it. I have a Separator funnel but again the gunk is to thick. I bought a coffee grinder and grinded to the point of dust. Tried again and it gunned up just as think. I tried using 2 litters of SH filled water and 16 oz of warmed naptha to over liquify, but the sluge still built up at the bottom stopping me from getting a good rip

PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADIVCE.

Things I haven't tried but going to, longer stay in SH. I usually leave it for 15 min, due to how fine the powder is, and from the pull I get Its good. But maybe it will break the material down more.

If the sep funnel is unsuccessful, you can increase the diameter of area for liquid flow by popping the bottom burette-style adapter out of the funnel itself. The flow of liquid would then be monitored by capping the top just before all the gunk is gone. If your funnel doesn't allow for disassembly, or if you don't want to risk ruining it, I suggest pipetting the aqueous layer off the gunk directly with a transer pipette, eye dropper, or something like that. Also, a graduated cylinder or similar small bore apparatus helps to minimize solvent loss during liquid transfer due to the reduced meniscus and thus smaller unit volume per length of cylinder.

Yeah here's your solution. Fuck the seperatory funnel for now. Naptha doesn't dissolve plastic so get a big syringe or something similar. Like those medicine droppers they use for little kids (most pharmacies give them away anyway). Suck off the top layer of naptha being sure not to suck up ANY of the black gunk. Then throw it in a mason jar and freeze. The DMT will freeze to the bottom and the sides of the jar, evaporate and recyrstalize if you desire. Then you can reuse the leftover naptha. You'll lose a small amount of naptha that you can't suck up w/o sucking up sludge but it's not much.

Save the sep funnel for mescaline extractions or if you want to make a DMT salt.
