DMT ringing and mind opening

Okay so last night I was recalling a really bad trip from 2 years ago and thinking about what exactly went through my head during the trip and how it affected me.
I've had this theory that the trauma caused me to sort of put up walls in order to become stable again because I was super fragile for months afterwards, but blocked everything out and felt dull/dronelike.

Last night I felt really odd like I was flexing the tripping part of my brain or something, I was definitely flexing something (you know like when you flex your jaw, that kind of feeling except in my head) and I'm not sure why. After a while though I started to actually feel like I could remember my mindset and everything from the shroom trip clearly, made me think of the flashbacks people talk about although I don't really think they're a big deal. The weird part though was when I started hearing the DMT ringing sound where the world tears apart, it was the exact same sound and it felt like I took a small hit of DMT (I've done lots of different doses and paid great attention to how the sound changed in volume with dose). I can't remember anything else besides it getting a bit louder, I think I drifted off to sleep.

I've been feeling weird since I woke up and JUST NOW while typing this the same flexing is starting up again. I'm not saying this is some sort of trip brought on without drugs, I just don't know wth it is and it really does feel like some sort of low dose trip before visuals. Maybe it's just some kind of tension and I feel kind of light headed, idk how to describe it. Honestly though my mind feels more clear and alert than ever. Maybe I should see a doctor, idk. It could even just be like the onset of a migraine or something lol, but the experience last night was just plain odd.

Perhaps its your psyche trying to tell you something, so to speak, the beginning of a transformative process, where its getting ready to direct you through the repair job from the soul-slapping you must have had.

I wouldn't personally go to the doctor, do not by any means take this to mean I advise you not to go, merely to state that personally, I would not go, unless and until I actually believed there was some danger of any kind. That is to say, if it is purely wierdness, unfamiliarity, and not an actual problem/illness, then why go to the doctor.

A psych would probably medicate you with something that suppressed such things, which is fine if you are psychotic, but if you do happen to be undergoing the beginning of some sort of transformation or developmental milestone in terms of recovery, or something else entirely, then getting doped full of antipsychotics is going to squash any possibility of that work being completed flatter as a pancake.

My advice is to go to the doctor if its nescessary, or if it looks likely to be some sort of problem that just, evoked memories of the intoxicated state, by similarity, but unless there is a problem health/sanity wise of any kind, watch carefully, listen to what your subconscious is trying to tell you, if anything, write things down, mental state, thought patterns, insights, take notes so you can compare and analyse methodically, and see how it plays out.

I get that sound sober when im opening my crown chakra.

See, I have something similar whilst ON DMT (not sober though), it almost feels like something in my brain is snapping, not unpleasent though, just intense.

I've never heard of people getting 'DMT flashbacks' though. Maybe you just learnt how to do it yourself ;) would be a nice thought...

Do you have access to a copy of PiHKAL? If so, you really should read the chapter called "Crisis", where Ann Shulgin talks about a fairly long, spiritual/existential crisis she went through after an unpleasant trip. She worked her way through it in a remarkable way :-)
