DMT Question

I just recently found out about this drug. I have been in the scene for 10 years, I have no clue as to how to extract it, I'm not sure I trust myself. Is this something that people actually have at raves and such? Where does it come from?
 
It's hard to describe DMT in one post, but I'll give it a go to provide you with some sense of it:

DMT is one of the most intense psychedelics available. It's short lasting, but the trip itself can feel like years. It comes from psychedelically active plants such as the bark of mimosa hostilis, but it has to be extracted in order to be available. I'm fairly sure that most of the plants that produce DMT are mostly found in the southern USA and rain forests in tropical countries. Extracting it is a process, and if you're completely unaware on how to do it, I would suggest you go out and try doing so (if you can even attain the hostilitis bark). It only becomes orally active when you mix it with an MAOI; this is usually referred to as ayuhausca.

I highly doubt you would find this powerful, mystical substance at a rave. Typically raves have things such as molly and LSD to offer-- things that enhance the rave itself. DMT will pull you into hyperspace, an entirely different world, so it isn't really something suited for a rave. I also don't know how many people walk into a rave with the hardware necessary to smoke it.

There so much more to be said about it, but I hope this serves as an introduction for you. If you search for DMT on Bluelight, I'm sure you will be able to find a lot more information. Also, the DMT-nexus is a forum dedicated to the deemster.
 
surely kids that have lsd at a rave will be able to get it if thats what you are asking - if you havent found it yet just keep searching - it will come to you when you are ready :)
 
most raves will only be molly and lucy, but you can find dmt at every shpongle performance, and people will be smoking it there too
 
lol @ sphongle those are some hippies so ya id guess ur right - however have it as in available i dunno :) but definitely can find people that are using it and use it there id imagine
 
^ Yeah I remember distinctly smelling some DMT when I saw Shpongle.

It's fucking ridiculous, it's like someone just shot the universe into your brain. One second your smoking a pipe and then the next... BOOM!
 
lol sounds pretty crazy - can you "crack back" dmt in a oil burner and let it dry before smoking it so you dont suck in any said crystals?

I find it to be much more disturbing than that. It comes on hard and fast. BOOM your body dissolves and then it get all crazy.

Check out the documentary "DMT: The Spirit Molecule." Personally I am very interested in this drug and I do lots of research on it. Doing this at a rave, or even in public is a very bad idea. You're whole world seems to melt away and you experience some of the most intense visuals. Like mentioned above, even though it only lasts an hour it can feel like forever. If you are wanting to try it you could look online for some ayahuasca to buy. Make a tea with it and drink it. Because it contains an MAOI it is orally active. I would not recommend doing DMT without years of experiences. Its not just something you can try because it sounds cool. This is a burn that is very hard to heal.
 
I think anyone who can hold conversations on 2c-b and LSD should be okay Witt some dmt. I got that dmt movie yesterday I plan on watching it tonight

This is a classic description of DMT which almost makes it cliché but I do agree that the experience is like this: an immense blast of unimaginable intensity. I literally cannot imagine it when sober, even much less than not being able to imagine acid or other psychedelics... and also, while people who react alright to other psychedelics should be okay to try it, I never get used to it and feel like it is impossible to be prepared for.

Being shot into space only applies to smoked DMT. Oral DMT is a much longer, more manageble few hours. Like mushrooms only a lot more psychedelic and a lot more feeling of some presence being with you.
