DMt Question: No separating - help?

Ok, one extracted 1lb of MHRB, and on the first pull ended up with almost 8 grams.... 3 more to go

Now, on the second pull, but the naptha is not separating very well, at all. It been sitting for almost 24 hrs,
and have done a few heat baths with little result. Someone mentioned before to just add more lye to help it separate.
Would it hurt to add more lye to the mixture at this point and roll/shake?

Don't shake too much but instead swirl and swoosh it around. It can help to add tablesalt, in chemistry called brine/BRINE when in watery solution. Salt can bond to loose stuff hanging around in solution. Some kinds of loose stuff anyway. Adding more lye is a possibility but don't get overexcited with it. It really depends on the pH on the watery phase. If it's quite high enough then that shouldn't be the problem in the first place, otherwise it could be. So measure the pH.

8 grams? That's about four times more than you would expect from mimosa.

oNE let the first pull sit for 3 days, rolling every few hrs once separated. But now its not separating very well, unlike all other extractions one has done.
