DMT on the height of a trip?

I've heard rumors that taking dmt while on the height of a trip the dmt high stays for the duration of the trip
TRUE OR MYTH ?????
I did look in trip reports n shit but coundnt see anything about it
 
Myth... IME when DMT is smoked when allready tripping, it is "potentiated"(less needed than normal for breakthrough) - but the DMT experience isn't prolonged.
 
I find it pretty much the same as doing it from baseline. If anything, phenethylamines just fight the DMT experience slightly rather than harmonising with it. I don't really know how it interacts with tryptamines/LSD as I have only had one experience combining them (5-meo-mipt). Duration and tolerance profile remain pretty much the same in my experience.

I can't comment on dose potentiation because I rarely weigh my DMT. I just smoke it until it feels right.

It's horseshit. DMT will be deactivated at exactly the same rate whether you are tripping on something else or not.
 
I think there's a bit of truth in this. If you smoke DMT on another psychedelic, you're more sensitized to its effect, so you will notice it for longer, hence it appears to last longer.
 
When I've smoked DMT at the peak of another drug (4-aco-dmt, lsd, 2cb etc) it always seemed to stretch out and unfold much slower than smoking it on its own. It's still infinite, but it lasts 25% longer ;)
 
Myth; and i do not recommend doing this unless you really want to know you are; It can be a shock to some once you break through
 
For me, while tripping on acid i can smoke dmt and it last an hour or more before i start coming down.
 
Good luck ripping the bowl while peaking lol.
I would take 3 hits and blackout and trip balls. No way could I have lit that bowl again.
 
^ that's intentionally dumb, right? :)

EDIT: I found smoking DMT after ingesting Syrian rue to be not just a longer version of a DMT experience but a wholly different effect. Much more LSD like.

Any nausea from the Syrian rue? Is it Ayahausca like? Since its an MAOI?
 
Would it not be a case that it just appears to last longer? Not actually last any longer?

Either way I suppose its the same effect
 
Myth.

Imo its not really all that great. Whenever I've tried to do it its really hard to smoke DMT while peaking. Like 1/4 of the way I'm smoking a space trombone. Like the pipe turns into somthing else and it becomes extremely hard hit the pipe.

Ah I miss that. My friends and I would have contests to see who could rip it the most times before tripping balls lol.
4 hits would always, and I mean always launch me into another dimension. It was weird.

DMT lasts longer with syrian rue because it's an MAOI - the syrian rue stops your body destroying the DMT.
 
Maybe, but the body breaks down DMT at the same rate whether you're on acid or not.
