I was wondering. What type of DMT everyone mentioned here took? Was it NN-DMT or was it 5-MEO-DMT?

But I have come to believe that DMT was not "meant" to be smoked, and oral ingestion is where it is at. Still not tried it again, but one day I will.

Also, in the same way you say its not meant to be smoked, when you take it orally, its "meant" to be taken with natural mao inhibitors (harmala alkaloids/etc). I tell ya, there is something about taking harmaline with it vs. something like moclobemide - with mocl. it can be a lot more "freaky" and intense like smoked DMT, harmaline seems to (for me anyway) make every single experience good, not necessarily "adding" much to it unless you take a higher dose of harmala/line. The two just fit .
